  1. i like some of jacob collier's stuff from his last album but he doesn't seem to know how to reel it in and focus on one thing, his songs end up sounding like taking every concept and trying to jam it into one pop/jazz song. i have a feeling his future efforts will get better tho.

hes an astonishingly gifted musician with a unfortunately terrible taste in music. excited to see what he comes up with in his 30's though.

  2.

remaining at this point would just be fucking annoying. i cant even deal with having to read brexiteer media frothing at the mouth at how its a flagrant insult to the will of the people for the next fucking 5 years, and blaming every single bad thing that happens to britain on remaining. i want no deal now, just so we have a chance at reform.

yeah it really wouldn't be half as annoying as the country facing massive financial decline, huge job losses, the poorest becoming even poorer and russia having even less reason to stop breaking international law and using weapons of mass destruction in another sovereign territory.

there would be no reform from brexit other than a loosening of regulations, worse employment laws and less money for 99% of the population.

to believe anything else at this point is wilful ignorance.

also, don't read brexiteer media perhaps?

im obviously not being completely serious, but can you imagine the potency of that as a scapegoat for decades to come? and as far as none brexiteer media goes, mainstream media basically all is. youve got the mirror, the independent, the guardian maybe, but statistically well over 70 percent of all newspapers in britain are further right than the centre. i only read newspapers to see what is being printed, i prefer to get my news from sourced blogs, but i think im in the minority of people in the uk. its a lose/lose situation in every possible way now.

  4. i still quite like corbyns ideals, but he is definitely no longer a viable alternative. i read an interesting article outlining his possible reasons for being so pro brexit though, which is essentially that european law would make it very difficult for him to implement the level of socialist policies that he intends. i cant remember where it was though, if i find it il post it.

  5. the situation is quite different because scotland is actually a full, separate country embroiled in political union, as opposed to catalonia which is officialy part of spain, but still, who knows.

  6. i think the SNP will hold another referendum in the case of a no deal brexit because it will be catastrophically bad for scotland, and not a single area of scotland voted for it.

if the whole thing gets extended and brushed under the rug, probably not.

it remains to be seen wether the UK will react in the same way as with the catalonians and just arrest everyone involved. again, potential riot material.

  7. But scotland voted to stay in the union :/

the main contention is that it was a massive, persuasive part of unionist campaigning that to vote for remaining in the UK would keep scotland in the EU, which is a pretty big deal for scotland because they export a higher percentage of goods there than england. scotland voted to remain in the EU with the highest majority of any part of britain.

the english goverment treats scotland with such a vicious contempt its still surprising to me that indepence lost the first time round. the mandate was established afterwards aswell by scotland once again voting the SNP in so overwhelmingly that they became the 3rd largest westminster party even though scotland has 5million citizens compared to englands 60 odd million.

  8. people still are not properly informed though. same as america, a huge amount of people still think that newspapers have some kind of responsibility to tell the truth, instead of pushing whatever political agenda the owner of the newspaper needs to continue maximising personal profits.

  9. Reaction videos are retarded. Who the hell cares about how some random person in a secondary video reacts to a primary one. Maybe they're psychologically engineered more towards extroverts as the target audience, who knows

i saw a video on youtube pop up the other which was a reaction to someone else speedrunning a computer game.
