- No further details, but good to know they will be back. Lots of people were sure TH was their swan song.
- 2023-04-20: Funny Bleep newsletter: "No, we don't know when the new BoC album is coming", and "Maybe create a hexagonal altar and pray for their return."
- 2023-07-25: @boctransmission on Threads (part of Instagram) posts "Welcome to the official BOC Threads. Follow here for future news & announcements etc."
- 2023-10-13: @MikeSandison posts a link to their Threads account, saying "Offocial BOC Threads"

2024-01-18: The official handle on Twitter is now @boardsofcanada.
- They managed to migrate the content from @boctransmission which is still under their control, but now only shows a link to the official regained account in their bio.
- 2024-02-11: The official Boards of Canada Facebook channel posts a link to their Instagram account.
- 2024-02-12: The official Boards of Canada Facebook, Instagram, and Threads accounts now have a verification checkmark.
There seems to be a lot of emphasis on Instagram and Threads. The last months they've also been adding fan video posts on their Instagram account. The most recent one was added 16th of March. There's 12 posts in total now.
Who else is ready?
Absolutely ready! Hopefully this year still. I don't put too much stock into social media but I can't imagine they'd be putting in the effort for nothing. I don't think verfying their accounts is a means to sell more old records.

Honestly love both sus dog and cave dog and think both are the best work he’s done since Iradelphic. Anyways regardless of what he played I hope it was a great show!

Loving this after a couple listens, I actually appreciate the low key vibe, great to wind down and decompress to. His mixes and live sets are always there for the higher energy dance tunes if I need to change gears.

Despite what I see as a lukewarm at best reception to these guys, I kinda love their tracks with King Krule and wish they would do a full album with him. I think this track is great!

I'm always up for new Four Tet, I respect him alot as a musician. I look forward to his mixes more these days than his studio albums. Not super into his collab work with Fred Again and Skrillex, mostly because I am old.

I like it, but not as much as the more ambient stuff of recent years. The "back from the dead fucked up in the head" piece from df is a bit too 'Hot Topic' for me personally.

This is a really pretty sounding album! A nice low-key sister album to A Light For Attracting Attention. I definitely recommend listening on headphones, there are some really nice layered sounds going on in these tracks, I look forward to subsequent listens.

Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives is such an all-timer of a record for me. I'll always be interested in what he's doing. This sounds nice!

the leak sounds like shit but I dig the tracks, can't wait to hear the proper release. Burial to me is to music what Wes Anderson is to film. Don't expect him to deviate too far from his formula.
