the leak sounds like shit but I dig the tracks, can't wait to hear the proper release. Burial to me is to music what Wes Anderson is to film. Don't expect him to deviate too far from his formula.

Here too but the samples appear to have been pulled.

Sounding pretty massive based on the samples, can’t wait!

Oh wow!! Gotta hear this

Maybe I missed the memo earlier but this is streaming now at least on Apple Music. Lovely ep!!

I really like his ambient side quite a bit. the first two tracks are a killer combo.
Big fan of his ambient stuff as well!

It's ok!
The more I listen to it, the more I'm convinced the Good Friday remix is the best one they've ever done. I love Broken Drum too but GF just hits all the right spots for me.

whoa! hell yes thanks for sharing!

This is all great discussion and there are no wrong answers when it comes to standout tracks on such a classic, but it's all about KJZ for me. So many memories of grooving to this one late at night driving.

Classic album. Can’t justify that price tag plus shipping though, yikes!

Dead Giveaway is more likely EOD. Maybe Rolando Simmons.
idler does sound like BoC. Could be Principles of Geometry.
Not BoC for sure

I’m surprised that there isn’t already a thread about this song. One of my favorites of his, by far. I think I came upon it a bit late, as well, but still probably 15-20 years ago. Such a perfect tune.
I own one physical release of this, on this bad boy…Holy shit!

I play this off YouTube on the regular. It’s a next level track and the vid, strangely, compliments it well. Puts my mind at ease on the most challenging of days.

digging both of these tracks quite a bit!

Its out, some of these reworks might be better than the originals! This is great
This is excellent stuff!! Big fan of the first third and the back third. I'm sure I'm an outlier but I love alot of Clark's ambient/beatless stuff, so the later tracks are really doin' it for me.

Seriously, what a tune! My favorite off lp5 and depending on the day a contender for my fave Ae track of all. Goosebumps!

I found an original pressing of IABPOITC in my local thrift store for $3. That has to be a sign.
Holy shit!

Also major respect to André for still being the uncompromising, gonna do whatever the fuck he wants to do type of dude for putting out an album in a genre that’s probably top 5 least lucrative.
I think that's what endears me to him the most. He could've put out a bunch of albums in the hip hop lane but he didn't want to/wasn't inspired to go that route. I love that this of all routes is the one he chose to take, because it's meaningful to him. I wish more artists were this principled and chose their passion over $$.

This is awesome, will be a good addition to my wind-down albums. Very serene and meditative which appeals to my hippy sensibilities

he confirmed it's no more old school sampling for him... it's all software synths, korg plugins, and generic trap beats nowadays. he will never go back to the MPC. this is a frustrating article to read: https://www.musicradar.com/news/dj-shadow-interview
this is a better article, since he talks a lot about what he was doing back in the '90s: https://www.stereogum.com/2240398/dj-shadow-new-album-unkle-dj-hero-rare-records/interviews/weve-got-a-file-on-you/
it was a good run from him from about '94 - '03. every track he put out had a sense of soul + originality to it. once he moved away from vinyl/tape/vhs samples on an MPC to DAWs, he lost his superpower.
yeah pretty much nailed it, well said. What a run he had though. Endtroducing is timeless, an all-timer for sure.
