  4. I feel like Michael Crichton is the real culprit re: super short chapters. Haven't read him since I was a kid, but I kind of remember his novels being kind where there are 100+ chapters in ~350 pages.
  5. Giving The Leftovers another chance. It holds up better without the wait between episodes, but I still wouldn't say I love it.
  6. I quit on Daredevil about half way through the first season. Maybe I'll give it another shot though.
  7. The Newburgh Sting - In which the FBI seduce some destitute, and not particularly bright, young men into a fictitious terror plot and treat it as some sort of major win in the War on Terror. Recs for anyone watching Making a Murderer.
  8. Watched the first couple episodes of Master of None. I found very few lols.

  11. Prove that he's black. I've never seen him at any of the meetings.
  12. The only Will Self I've read is Dorian. I thought was p good, but it depends on your interest in coked out 80s/90s decadence.
  13. I generally dislike Fantasy, but The Vorrh, The Fifth Season and The Grace of Kings have all piqued my interest. Currently reading The Power of the Dog by Don Winslow and Black Flags by Joby Warrick.
  14. Cartel Land - Great doc, I'd recommend it anyone who liked Narcos or Sicario (I guess, I haven't actually seen it yet).
  15. I listen to a couple of podcasts (Wait, What and House to Astonish) and read the solicitations for upcoming books (http://comicspectrum.com/Current_Solicits.html). Edit: Anyone reading Unfollow or The Sheriff of Baghdad from Vertigo? It's good to see DC publishing some good creator owned work again.
  16. "I fucked on your bitch and I'll prove it." - William J. Clinton Dude is bulletproof.
  17. Charges coming in for the 2004 nastiness: http://nyti.ms/1mpB307
  18. All that Mexican, Brazilian, etc food is the only worthwhile thing thing about North Jersey. Or any part of Jersey. These assholes are clueless. Edit: and Paterson's own Fetty Wap
