    Literary agency finally gotten back to me with negative results. And while the rejection email is flattering of my book, I can't help but feel it's an mad lib form that all rejections get. Especially since my book 'stood out from the rest they received' yet it took them 5 months, two months longer than they state on their website, to get back in touch.

     

    Oh well, time to begin the cycle again.

    HYRULE WARRIORS.

    i'll be honest, haven't played a dynasty warriors game before. I understand the gameplay of this is more or less no different. however, having the whole game reskinned with Zelda characters and locations and items etc makes the whole game appear a whole lot more >> fun <<.

    playing the game 2 player is great fun (1 player on tv, player 2 on gamepad) (resolution framerate drops a bit but its a compromise you can live with). smashing through hordes of enemies while trying to balance ownership of the battlefield and taking over keeps is a lot of fun. it's almost incredibly mind numbing but if you sink into it it makes a lot of sense and has a lot of depth to it (if you think about the game too much the brain hurts a little).

    lot of fun. the Japanese metal extreme remixes of Zelda songs are fun too, and the greatest part is the options have volume control, so if you do get sick of the cheese music you can turn it down and blast syro instead :)

    recommended, fun game

     

    I had the same experience when they released One Piece: Pirate Warriors, in that I don't feel much interest in historical Chinese generals but have great love for the characters in One Piece. Mostly mindless but very fun, and hectic!

    My comments about it sounding like Plaid are more directed to Minipops than the album. As I said on the CHATMM, this is like Aphex's Hello Everything: a mix of everything Aphex does on one record.

     

    I think it's a solid record. Not much new or paradigm shifting but definitely great listening.

    Why do people order multiple formats of the same album? Must be nice to have so much disposable income.

     

    watmm should have a grump meter that doesnt let you post if you are way too grumpy.

    As it's my b'day soon, my brother is buying me the CD and my mom + sister are getting me the vinyl. Couldn't think of anything else to suggest as presents. :emb:

    my own FWP in a third-world country - my stomach has become too soft....can't fight off bacteria like I used to. For three days this week every time I went to take a shit it was literally like pissing out of my arse. And I was full of gas cause I was scared to fart for fear of sharting all over the office.

     

     

    Try eating more natural yogurt to introduce good bacterias to stomach lining, unless your stomach is super bad against yogurt then...Idk.

     

    I eat yogurt every day for lunch and my stomach is as strong as an Ox. I reckon it could beat ebola.

     

    (I still get seasick easy tho :/)

    Yeah, I usually make a point to say 'Don't google ganglion cysts' but I forgot this time. :P The cyst didn't hurt but the tendonitis that appeared right behind my wrist murdered me. I couldn't hold the guitar neck whatsoever. Let's see how quickly that flares up again.

     

    And I don't remember everything (I used to be able to play some acoustic finger plucky songs but can't remember the first chords) but enough to get back up to speed soon enough. Remembering the names of scales/chords though, THAT I never remembered! My guitar teacher gave up in the end.

    The only thing being torn up around here is the fret board. *air guitars*

     

    But yeah I know my limits, I mostly stopped playing before due to a mixture of tendonitis and ganglion cysts, so I'm well aware of how feeble my wrists and arms are lol. Just seeing the thing and knowing it's not dust or rotted is happiness enough for me.

     

    That said, I haven't really gotten any slower or forgotten much, despite not picking up one for so many years. Old habits die hard I guess.


    Not that I was that fast to being with, mind you.

    Why isn't that Dragon Quest PS4 blue? They missed a trick there.

     

    Also I accidentally bid on a PS Vita Slim and might accidentally pay for it should I win. Don't you hate it when that happens?

    Eh, I'd buy the first variant, better screen and all that jazz.

     

    i honestly think i'd sacrifice the "better screen" for micro usb, smaller profile and better battery. i have the white one that came w/ass. creed: girl a few xmas ago. really love how good psplus has been for vita lately. lots of indies that should be cross buy for ps4 later too. mutant mudds and dragon crown keepin' me busy

     

     

    Yeah, PS Plus has given me so many games I barely have any games left to get for it
