  1. +1 agreed about Acrid, when those massive strings come in circa 3 minutes, all other music is left in the dust, truly timeless tune.
  2. mfw 1:26 to 1:40 of 28 organ Just absolutely mind-blowing how all the layers interact, one of those moments where I just cannot comprehend how someone could think of that beauty. Don't think it will ever get old. @Skeletron, super nice cover man, you nailed so many parts and it sounds so good. <3
  3. 1 year anniversary today! Amazing, does not feel like a year, I remember listening to Utopia + other early tracks, completely clueless to the monumental event that would follow. Cheers Rich!
  4. Bradley's Echoes for me, there is something magical about those strings...
  5. it was obvious he wanted to touch richard inappropriately though. JR was right to delete it. tfw you miss watmm-gate
  6. and most of the gear used on the track didn't exist in 1985 Should probably check the spreadsheet next time.
  7. I know this is probably jazz, but still amazing none the less, that going by this picture: He made this amazing 2 minutes of music: https://youtu.be/TV12F1XtUQ0?t=252 when he was 14 years of age. How the fuck............. Truly a next-level mind.
  8. Reminder there are still over 100 new tunes that he has found but not uploaded, so unless he is releasing it or maybe just waiting it does seem he is inactive because of the conspiracy stuff/heat he was getting as a result:
  9. You can't really knock the top 5, but I think that Tsim, Acid Organ, Cutting and DEFINITELY Bradley's Echoes should be way higher. On most days these are the tracks I want to listen to the most, and while Organ and Cornish Spreeks are masterpieces, I think that Ibiza Spliffs, nocares and probably Chink 101 are a bit over-inflated. I'm not gonna say overrated, because all of these tunes are insanely good.
  10. Oops, went on the site on a College connection, didn't see anything so assumed as it was linked to Soundcloud the tracks would be removed. Cheers.
  11. xf, is there anyway we can see what the votes were when the tracks got deleted? Haven't checked it in months, would be interesting to see where it got to in the end.
  12. I just really hope he didn't end it solely on that Youtube video deletion conspiracy stuff. It's sad because as important as it is to share with people the other side of the story like Rich was doing, I'd rather have new tracks than endless links and resulting paranoia, ending up with every track being deleted and not a peep for ages. Oh well, Tis better to have jammed and lost, than never to have jammed at all.
  13. That's because the comments missing are attached to his own tracks that have now gone.
  14. Both times he has deleted all of this tracks it's also deleted all of the comments going back to the one where he says he likes Swurlk by EOD. Soundcloud confuses me....
  15. Edit: And now it's gone already? God dammit! You never think to download them but it would be a fucking godsend right now. Track was super lush as well.
  16. https://soundcloud.com/user18081971/8-linmiri-bradley-stryder-1 First Soundcloud check of the day, mfw:
  17. 2015, the year of the Soundcloud. Such an unbelievable gift, so many absolutely outstanding and magical tracks, hard not to take it for granted, especially earlier in the year when he was uploading 100's a month, but each and every track is a privilege to listen to and enjoy. Rich has single-handedly made this such a memorable year. Thanks Rich, and thanks WATMM for riding this wave of uploads out with 580+ pages of awesomeness, killing many boring afternoons with pages of top lels. As we look forward to another year of IDM, to some much anticipated Melodies from Mars, and to more untold riches, I hope we spend the night listening to, or at least appreciating, Soundcloud tracks, in tribute to Richard's lifelong obsession with making the most perfect music possible, and the massive heart which lets us listen to a fucking fuckton of it. Cheers everyone, here's to a mental 2016!!!
  18. new track never had DL enabled. ah sorry then i misunderstood something :-) If you mean my comment, I just meant use some Soundcloud to MP3 website to download it incase Rich deleted it for any reason. It never had an official download. i don't do that anymore right now. prefer the files in the quality he uploaded them in :-) If he deletes tracks again, it's the only chance you will get to hear it. :O

  20. Drunk Rich is best Rich, quick get this downloaded in case he regrets uploading later, solid tune though, sounds pretty recent, reminds me of T08+4, love the eerie pads!
  21. Yep that's a great tune, every time Rich brings his break in at 2:54 I get chills. Acid at the end is also real nice, that stereo trick really get's in your head haha. I suspect they did tons of collab stuff 98-01, Acid tracks, cough wheatpin_x cough, would make my year when/if the collab EP/Album is ever released.
  22. Everyone knows in their heart of hearts that Sonar track is a collab, right? "that's earmarked 4 release at some point yep..got some other stuff 2 chuck out first though." That heavily implies that it's his aswell. If it was solely Tom's that last clause wouldn't make sense at all. Never the less it's a fucking amazing track and needs to be released to the world ASAP, it completely had me ever since I listened to it for the first time. :)
  23. What is going on here?! LOL Seems like he must have changed his avatar to P, then posts A, now hes changed it to A. Spelling out Aphex Twin...... Yes that is your name :)
  24. Maybe he's doing it to force us to focus on lesser known tracks, I know the recent deletion and re-upload made me find 12 Rough Beat Tune and fall in love, could happen for other tunes aswell.
  25. I think it's got louder aswell, if you compare it to the waveform of the track before, however that might be something related to the length increase, don't know how Soundcloud's waveform's work.
