Fun times!

P.S. That Voice Solo 2 Teac is absolutely lush. As a fanboy of the "spooktown" vibe tracks like Hedphelym this is a real soul slicer.

It's not like he's releasing albums called "Orphaned Illuminati Fluoride Conspiracy" or sampling David Icke speeches (though he could be and I'd probably be none the wiser), so it should be pretty easy to just ignore the few links he pops onto the corner of his SC page if you ask me. I treat conspiracies the same as I treat Religion - I don't know the answers, and I don't believe many other people do either, so I'll just keep absorbing different points of view to make a great big Opinion Pie and then chew on it for a while. Anyway, there's got to be some reason for the SC deletions, just a shame he hasn't hinted at it in the comments. Could be just getting drunk on cider every day and angrily deleting songs he's not happy with, could be trolling us, could be an order from above that he doesn't particularly talk about. You can't handle the truth! But I can, so hope he lets us know soon.

Quite guilty of this too. A bit of Squarepusher, Mastodon & other random bits in the car so that the better half doesn't kill me, but 2015 has been a total Aphex fanboy binge year, and I've loved every second. If I'd known what was coming 2 years ago, I'd have been "quite" excited. I hope 2016 is equally Aphexian.

I apologise in advance, but 4bit reminds me of 2000-era Daft Punk, got that K-pop disco in space feel, ya know? Do like it mind, though I agree the placement within the album doesn't sit 100% well. The Circlons + "earth portal" are still the standouts for me.

I don't normally get on with most of the modular stuff, but these latest few are very interesting to my brain. MODULART4 has got some very distinct SAW2 vibes, I can't remember which track exactly, something off disc 2 I think, but it's like a Robot trying to convey the SAW2 song after few too many robo-brews. I think I like it!

Seeing that 228 change to a 230 just made me feel like a kid opening Donkey Kong Country on Xmas morning. Won't be listening to the modular stuff on the way to work or before bed, but definitely appreciate being able to throw on the headphones, light up a smoke and delve into Rich's perverted modular brain. Favourite comment on the new tracks is probably "Obscene phone call from the Clangers", spot on! Enough is never enough, open the floodgates!!!!
