if you haven't played The Talos Principle you definitely should.
I've stopped playing the game back since last summer due to the two chuffing star puzzles on the Crater level (from the DLC). Keep getting about 3/4 way through then 'soft-locking' myself and giving up. Wish the rewind button would allow you to partially rewind rather than completely restart the level.

A good dude. He just released a book I really want to read. https://mitpress.mit.edu/books/structure-and-synthesis
Nice, saw the announcement a month or so ago then totally forgot about it. Looks like it's now in stock on Amazon.co.uk - Adding to my 'to buy' list

I see that Mark Fell name everywhere.. Who is that guy really?
It's just another one of Richard's aliases - he just shaves off his beard, sticks on some glasses and a flat cap then boots up a copy of Sonic on his broken Mega Drive and plays Spring Yard Zone for a bit.

I actually payed for most of the v3 Toneboosters plugins and still use them, if nothing else Hum Remover is a nice harmonic notch filter tuned for mains hum overtones that's very useful if you use cranky old gear. I still use the v3 gate all the time, too.
Yeah I bought all of the v3 ones previously (and have since paid for the v4 upgrades) but they were so fairly priced and useful that I don't really mind others can now get the joy of them for free !

also, the spectral magic plugins from michael norris are in beta.. he's updating them so that's good. didn't realize that.. still free.

"I am currently porting SoundMagic Spectral to the JUCE framework, which will allow for SoundMagic to run as a VST, AAX and for both Macs and PCs as well." - yaaaaassssss
p.s. To add to the freebie pile ToneBoosters now have all their legacy v3 plugins available for free https://www.toneboosters.com/changelog.html (scroll to the bottom)

This looks so much like a generic WordPress theme some random intern fills as a side project.

Think it's a bit of both: 100k make the Laygridder Wordpress plugin ( https://laygridder.com/ ), the demo video of which shows a very similar style of web function & design:

I remember shortly before the album was released, they put Over the Horizon Radar on that interactive site they had as a preview for the album.
Atomless's BoC site was probably the longest time I'd ever spent on any music related site (aside from here!), used to spend ages flying over the 'Seven Forty Seven' island wondering why such beauty didn't make it onto Geogaddi
EDIT: Looks like it's still hosted on his site, just 'locked' behind barely any modern browser having access to using Macromedia Shockwave - http://atomless.com/projects/boc/site/

What did folks think about Alternative Light Source ? Was OK, certainly not terrible - just not as impactful as R&S or as epic as Leftism

Mine is nearest to the one at 5 minutes (though about a semi-tone higher)

Aye ditto - Those higher frequency 'percussion' sounds definitely help scratch my tinnitus 'itch' termporarily. Alas as soon as I stop, the 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' swiftly returns !
Here's the full album if you're (/anyone) is interested: https://robertloganmusic.bandcamp.com/album/tinnitus-sound-therapy
Have you found anything (sound wise - or other) that helps you personally ?

.... great stuff, and apart from 2 or 3 really old ones (ones with date stamps before around 2010) the Windows installers have got both 32bit and 64bit options

he should just make a vhshead.bandcamp.com and cut out the skam middlefolk

My only memory of Field Day was Fennesz playing on a very tiny table on far too large a stage whilst it rained, and him slowing inching his laptop further and further away from the front of the stage so as not to get the rain on his laptop & guitar setup !
