watched the first episode of Black Mirror, surprisingly enjoyable. Probably won't watch the rest as I really disliked the last season, it feels like the TV equivalent of r/im14andthisisdeep. Also I remember watching the Shut Up and Dance episode with my then girlfriend back in 2017 and it was super uncomfortable lmao. -

just finished the second book in the Southern Reach trilogy and began the third. so far an interesting change from the first two books.

the flesh interface was growing. slowly at first but then over the last three days slowly engulfing both the first and second yellow lines that we had painted on the laboratory floor. Now it was starting to spread across the roof, arms of meat drooping like stalactites and secreting a yellow gunk that coagulated in patches on the floor below.

yeah he does it on purpose, a lot of his other stuff have them arranged into artworks though:) just in regards to sequencing I'm pretty clueless. been wanting to make some kind of patch that can just read midi from a text file or something but haven't investigated further.

i was going for a run and ended up on this lawn in front of a restaurant. an Ambo was watering the guardian or somethin but i was really fucking dead from the run and had one of those head throbs you get when all ur electrolytes run away. with some conviction i enquired whether i could have some Ventolin. he smiled and asked whether i had a tightness in my chest or was struggling to breath, no i have a headache i responded. he looked at my like i was a right unit, flashing me the dirtiest look as if inferring i was a junkie trying to spin him a yarn to score. woke up

looks like I'll be copping Renoise. I'm already pretty comfortable in Max having read the Cipriani book but at the end of the day I can just use it inside Ableton or PD for nada. I wish I had the patience/knowhow to build huge ass patches like this:

tossing up between buying Renoise or getting a yearly sub to Max 8.. I love the workflow in Renoise. Does anybody use it with a laptop (w/o numpad)?
