nevermind i love every track now, goddamn this is amazing.

    go plastic 3 stars? ;-;

3 stars for me is a 6/10, so it was still a good album, but it felt underwhelmingly good and same-y throughout. Few tracks in here I do love a lot tho

Oh sweet Jesus as I skip through the fruit trees and twist and turn through the ballsack tingling delight of fields of fancy flowers I wonder what Messiah Melon Head will think of this album?

What will the Mischievous Dedicated Record Reviewing Butterfly give it?

    I'm thinking a light 6.

Get on the village green you cunt.

And prepare to pay with your cock nailed to your Mekon sized skull!!

Alright that's enough drunken posts from me.

    Goodnight.

he'll probably give it a light 6 then ignore Polymer forever

  4. After FINALLY getting all LPs of Tom's done before this release tonight, I'm happy to be just in time for the hype train. Tom's had a pretty interesting discography throughout his career, and I quite enjoy his work! This new album is more of the same enjoyment for me, it's definitely a bit of a return to form, but still has a very playful style I feel his past two records have had (especially on the first four tracks), though I feel shit like Vortrack and Mekrev Bass make me reminiscent of his older drill and bass albums a lil bit. So basically, it's half playful, half dark. Detroit People Mover is a pretty ambient track which put his synths into play, and is probably my favorite track, but I felt all of the tracks are very consistent and very good! Feeling a 7/10 on it

    Detroit People Mover: 8/10
    80 Ondula: 6/10
    Every other track: 7/10

  5. NTS Session 3 is also my favorite. While shimripl air and icari are okay but I’m bored by, tracks like glos ceramic, clustro casual and g 1 e 1 are absolutely catchy and beautiful. Some of Autechre’s best tracks since Exai for me. All I have to do is listen to 4 and I’m home free

1 1 is is the best Exai track and people who think bladelores is the best Exai track are the same kind of people that think tt1pd is the best NTS track (disgusting imo)

Update: finally got to NTS Session 3 some days ago. Tt1pd is good but definitely not close to my favorite track on the NTS albums

  7. forgot to post what I asked about days ago, so I shall now fire away pieces of art my friends made based on my Squidward/Wunschpunsch crossover I do ever since getting into the show.

I got two to post, both are sheer beauty and god, Maurizio, Jacob and Squidward are such a great character interaction I've ever crafted when I've had these phases man.

I think I have about 218 art pieces from me and my friends surrounding around this fan crossover project of two characters/shows I love, I really want to craft it into a fancomic for my own enjoyment, since I need a story of how Squidward got into the world of Wunschpunsch without feeling contrived, one day.......

but yeah hope you enjoy my friends kicking my ass in art way more as usual

  8. the government acts like real douchebag dictators if someone says something they don't want to hear and punishing them for their own incompetence (cough cough, the hong kong/nba situation where they suspended Rockets merch from selling/games from airing and brainwashing their own citizens), but whose government isn't corrupt or shitty? but yeah im sure the people are cool, i like chinese food but i want to have some actually from there and not some fake American variations of chinese food

  9. Heard this a couple hours ago, my first album ever from Oval, and it’s good but I’m 100% sure this is not their best. I could do without some of the repetitive beats that sound a bit EDM-ish (probably deconstructed club coming into play but its scattered throughout half the tracks such as Twirror, Oxagon and Piqqo for example), but I don’t hate this album. I had plenty of enjoyment from it, especially tracks 4-8. Cute album cover too

  10. Okay so for over a year now since I got into Pork downtempo legends Bullitnuts and started listening to the projects the group were in after they left such as one half of Bullitnuts (Robert Ellerby), Momma Gravy with another artist named Remko Schouten. Dribble It On is a great album but for a while now I wasn't sure how to listen to Adios and I don't have a lot of cash to throw around to look for cd listings out of the blue BUT ANYWAY a friend of mine found it online and I FINALLY got to listen to it the other night. This album I love a little bit more over Dribble It On, and THIS is my favorite track from it. FUCKING DOWNTEMPO BEAUTY

Exai is good and all but the material that came immediately before and immediately after is objectively better

oversteps is nice but didn't have the extra umph that Exai brings and Elseq is contender for my least favorite project of theirs that's good but underwhelming imo (tho it's in competition for that spot with Untilted, Amber and Incunabula, but last two have a lot of good tracks)

I think everyone will kill me if I end up liking the the post-Ultravisitor stuff better compared to his 98-2002 works
