are people thinking london b is more or less a jam?

first half could be , jamming the liveset making alternative things with it.

second half seems more foreseen, given that they start with this stuff in the sydney bootleg 1st half.  but who knows....

i'm pretty shure they have loads of stuff ready so that they could make 4 different sets right know.

That jam is killer, loved hearing all these old school samples! And hearing the "fresh" sample in London B gave me a BIG smile!

    yeah boy. same here

They probably built some Max patch that does all this insane scratching based on some number flow input. And it would make more sense to put out a one hour jam of this under the Gescom disguise.

1- years ago, I saw him live somewhere one day in a rave (it was a very good liveset) and he gave me this tape.

2- just got my memory knocked back by a friend that there is some nice stuff to listen on the label that produced that tape I had.

3- thinking "I might share this on watmm" - found nothing about it on the serch option here but pretty shure some of you know them. maybe.

good stuff here .and I like those sleeve design

it would feel very predictable for them to lean into some bio-mechanical deviantart 3d render porn.

Tracks are on constant rotation currently. This also feels much more human controlled while the previous releases felt more like they build machines for each track and let them run with minimal interference this now has harsh emotional twists

    totally

  6. I somehow suspected AE to be part of the Gescom's AMKS session,

and, how the scratching parts sound like (london B last quarter), give me a clue towards this.

    - great live sets, yes.  they're AcE .

the details are so defined that it's hard to believe it's a bootleg...

recorded with a pair of DPA 4060 mics, wich is  a few steps better than H4N -built in mics or other pocket recorder.

(even if those DPAs are basically designed as speech mics ) but they are easy to hide  (so as you won't be caught red-handed)

so probably, maybe,  the dude that recorded this had the mics located around his head rather than around his belt. captures better the rig + room.

... well then, imagine how it would sound with a pair of schoepps or neumann hi-end mics

The pads "drop" halfway through Jumbo

    hell yes.

makes me remember that, iirc, on the ""everything everything" DVD, in the bonus tracks, there's an edit of the pads parts of the live and you see the 3 lads just launching pads, and watching the crowd like "come on let's alle make love" lol  (couldn' quickly  find this bit it on youtube right now but those who saw this probably know what i'm tamking about)

  9. happened to me long time ago with valdislav delay "entain" ep.

was playing 33rmp but it's actually a 45rpm. you have no info on the record and i didn't check the digitals at the time. I bought this one without knowing the record itself but I had to complete an order so as to have free shipping and I listened to some vladislav delay somehow somewhere and it was nice so I ordered it without knowing what was on this one.

as it's a double 12" with one track per side , I should have guess it was 45rpm, but I was a young starter  at that time I did'nt know anything about 12" lol

yet, as it's ambient slow tracks, it worked fine this way.

once have a doubt with some scorn also but quickly figured out it was 33 because scorn tempos are usually slow.

Vordhosbn is great at 33 RPM. Amazing drum programming.

yeah right.  ....there's an aphex live show where he played a slowed down version of this track, iirc.

not as slow as this, though, and tuned same as the original, while with vinyl slowed down the key is shifted down, of course.

who is this user btw? since 06. lots of stuff afx related.

oh yes, now browsing the channel, nice. thanx

there's a bootleg of the  warp gig in venue "main d'oeuvre"  (paris france 2002 ) I was at this one but didn' remember any bit of it , so now I can figure out what was going on.

i.i.r.c. Rich was playing a dj set, it wasn't really notified in the line-up as we was part of the "+ warp dj's" so it was a surprise.

it was a crazy line-up with also playing : phoenecia, mark bell, mira calix, richard devine, plaid, chris clark.
