  1. 3:45 in Hypersquij - AFX synth stabs! I dig it
  2. Hooray the 'phex is back! I get the feeling that the Soundcloud isn't going anywhere (like the Syrobonkers tracks did). I think he's gonna have this for a long time and just add tunes to it whenever he feels like it. It's not necessarily a limited "event", just a new outlet for his music.
  3. Interesting to find out that Soft Ballet are a Japanese band. I had no idea. Kind of illuminates the title "Japan" a little bit.
  4. Whoa...somewhere help me out here. What AFX is this sampling?? Because the beat sounds likes it's sampled from Tom Jenkinson - Vogon & I (Sorry, no YouTube video), except that didn't come out until 1996... I swear it sounds almost identical. Unless both songs sampled some old AFX that I'm just blanking on.
  5. Yeah, that's right. At least that's how I downloaded em.
  6. Track does kind of remind me of a Bicycle wheel with something in the spokes. Fitting title.
  7. Organ could easily become one of my all-time favorite AFX tracks. So much detail and progression, just gorgeous throughout. I see some elements of Minipops in it too. They function in similar ways. Edit: I wonder if it was intentionally the 100th track uploaded (Not counting the removed one)
  8. To repeat everyone else - Holy shit Organ. Fantastic fucking track.
  9. Just a two-second glance at the frontpage of Soundcloud shows that they have a new Usher track with 24 million plays on it. So I doubt AFX is gonna break Soundcloud or even come close. I'm sure they've seen 100x this amount of traffic before.
  10. Yeah it's just the Sand Lowe remix...mastered differently though it sounds. Alternate take?
  11. I was hoping for some SAW II style tracks before this was over. Red Calx is beautiful.
  12. HAB has always been one of my favorite releases. Glad to hear some outtakes!
  13. Anyone notice that starting at 0:38 in Slo Bird Whistle the same melody that plays throughout Carn Marth begins?
  14. This whole thing is kind of a huge middle finger to Warp & the whole album marketing thing. It's genius really. How an artist of his caliber can take back control of his music and release it the way he wants to. Right as an official EP of his comes out! It's almost like he's just saying fuck the money entirely. Which really does put a lot of emphasis back onto the music, as opposed to the $400 enter-a-raffle-to-win this obscenely ridiculous overpriced collectors-resell fantasy version of Syro bullshit.
  15. 10 tracks in the last hour! I can barely keep up
  16. I think I like it especially because it doesn't sound like anything on any of his records! Like, who knew in the background of ICBYD he was making groovy late-night jams like this?
  17. I said it before about Llanerlush Full but NY Groove has some SERIOUS Streets of Rage vibes. AFX takes a trip to Kerrier District!
  18. I'm just in awe at how many tracks he's actually made over the years. Like, say we just looked at 1990 - how many tracks do you think he made that year? 100? 200?? That's like minimum 2 a week! The man is an unstoppable music machine.
  19. Haha I thought the same thing. That shoudl be a song title in itself...Serious Pancake Lizard Vibes.
  20. This is like a real time demonstration of his development as a musician. It's really amazing to watch unfold. Lots of these tracks would fit perfectly in between various releases.
  21. 19 Ssnb is actually very similar to Mookid now that I compare the two. I wonder if it's almost like an early version.
