yes. not much point in a pic of my 'studio' since all you need to do is to imagine an hp dv2530ea on a desk. yeah. i was mocked when i posted a "studio pic". i have a laptop, an external audio/midi interface and a studio condenser microphone. not enough. Same here. I know someone who has everything he needs to put the label "Studio" on the door. He has wires everywhere, synthesizers here and there etc., but his tunes aren't very good, so it just shows to tell that you don't need tons and tons of equipment to create good tunes.

Well, I've been thinking about buying it, because I want it a synth since I'm in a band now, and at one point or another we're going to play live, and I want to play this really aggressive fuzz distorted bass synth, but I haven't been able to find the right synth. And basically I'm just looking for a synth that can sound a little like everything, so I can use it for electronica, dub, chill etc.

How's the Nord Modular G2? I've considered buying one
