  1. Thanks. What's the story behind these tracks/account? This is my first time hearing of them. I made it to upload some very basic unedited hardware tracks. RS pre edits basically! I can't remember exactly why I started the account now, i think it was to make them available to some friends who joined in on some of the tracks (hence the different name). We usually hang out in my lair in the summer and try out gear and spill beer everywhere.
  2. Heheh it gets confusing with all the names and tracks. After a quick look at the list I see quite a few joke tracks given to friends back in the day, and the Theodore Radcliffe tracks aren't mine. Some of the others are made by friends of mine. JF Fasson D, we grew up together and made a lot of music. He contributed lots of ideas that were implemented in earlier versions of renoise, among other things. He unfortunately died last year. Would love to hear those tracks again... I got stuck doing new music. Don't have much spare time atm so have to use it wisely. I've found them, I should say. Just haven't had time to rip them!
  3. i'm listening to my unfinished and unreleased stuff atm as theres a LOT to come out. of the TM tracks that are out there already i like wasteland boutique very much. since then there's been a kind of bifurcation in my production methods between TM and RS where TM is mostly all laptop+tracker and a lot more brutal/naíve/instinctive and RS is studio stuff, more human and closer to life - all while battling bad cables, hiss and, most of all, time (especially trying to make my mc4 do what i want). i don't have much time to listen to other music right now so i'm having trouble keeping up with current releases, and i conciously avoid music that's close to what i make. theres some music playing in my home occasionally; Eno (another day on earth/ green world), NYZ, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Sophie, Krzysztof Oktalski (what little i've been able to find- such a treasure), Jandek, Sibylle Baier, Martial Canterel, some PC Music, Górecki, Paul Lansky, Mimaroglu, Pierre Bastien, Mike Dreds recent stuff...
  4. There's a bunch of tracks I'd like to re-do. Some we're badly recorded/mixed and some have melodies I'd like to do again. Rave Partner was a particularly messy/un-organized period so I'm not sure how it was made or what happened to the original files.
  5. Warming up is going on a digital release very soon but 'simple' was to say it wasn't finished at the time - you might like that one better than the finished version. If that's the case, just PM me when the time comes. it's been modified quite a bit actually :) Really! I'll admit, I was just listening off my crappy laptop speakers so heh, there's that. I'll have to give it a proper listen when I get home. Thanks for the track, Function 2 is one of my fav of your older tracks. Love the drum work. I've just re-listened (I'm home now), yeah it is modified quite a bit. I like em both (2 and 3) =) Sorry! It's tricky, i might just be aware of all the changes and view it as a totally different track but it might not be obvious to others.
  6. Right back at you! And huge thanks to anyone who's listening to/buying/talking about this stuff. Very happy that I'm not the only one excited about it! I'm currently rebuilding my studio to allow for large scale 'free analogue' type material, something I've been wanting to do for a long time, and couldn't have done without watmm.
  7. Haha they were never "released", never thought they'd still be around. Had a bass guitar and did some (mostly throwaway) shobaleader/dam funk inspired tunes.
  8. Oh and I also came in here to say that dreamhunter 2 will be out next weekend. Not as many tracks on this one, but tried picking out some of the more strictly tracker based material - triggered samples, breaks. A little nostalgic, naivistic set of tracks.
  9. Oh man, I'd love more tracks in the style of "Zenith Romancer". Is that one out in the wild? So good. (Listening back to the Teleport Regent tracks I have, I realized that one called "Orion Vomit" is a version of Z Reticuli (from Dreamhunter) but with live bass guitar. ) I don't think there'll be more teleport regent tbh. However, many of my friends like zenith romancer so I might release more poppy stuff like that at some point.
  10. Haha sorry things get a little confusing with the names. I didn't think anyone would be interested at the time, so didn't care much :) Thanks :) Happy to hear. Love doing artwork or involving talented friends to do it. It's amazing seeing other people interpreting what you've done. [general] Had to postpone dreamhunter 2 a little - too much to do at work atm. New music will come after that, TM and RS going in polar opposite directions style wise. I recently realized I haven't uploaded any "new" TM in a long time - too much old music to go through!
  11. I'm going to publish the florists album in about 10 mins. It's been great doing tracks with Johan for the past 3 years. We're both pretty busy doing our own things so it's a slow process, adding bits and pieces until something feels finished. This is an ongoing studio playdate project, and more will follow as things plop out.
  12. where's that? The piss he take, hmmm Early version of a track on soundcloud, newer and betterer iteration will get proper release in not too distant future.
  13. I think the amount of recognition I get is at perfect equilibrium right now. It allows me to get new stuff and occasionally go to lovely places I haven't been. I make music every day and the joy is 100% in the creation, and I will release stuff as long as people want to hear it :-)
  14. In a way, yeah, but the thing to remember about all this is that most of these are not proper albums or even artist names. I've made music for many years but just recently started feeling okay releasing things for real, so for 15 years there has been total anarchy in my archives. I consider Shadow Festival to be my first "album", so I only use Trackermatte and Rolando Simmons nowadays. Trackermatte is mostly for playing with breakbeats and melodies, Rolando is more personal, more studio work, processing etc...
  15. Hi Mr Burglar. Really enjoying listening to your stuff but did you ever find the full versions of those Crossdaddy Bonebag Acid EPs by any chance? Cheers - Yes! They're found. I will convert them to flac and upload them somewhere. Too busy with current music to organize them into something but will post here when uploaded.
  16. Trackermatte and Rolando Simmons have been my livelihood for a few months, thats why I've put out a lot of stuff recently. I've had more time to produce and compile stuff, it's been pretty great actually.
  17. Hey, couldn't find the track. If anyone has it, please contact me! I'm trying to archive my stuff but it's not an easy task...
  18. I'm sure I scrolled past it the other day. I'll see if I can find it and PM you.
  19. Sure, his name is Freddy Snygg! Thanks for going through the trouble making the list. It's very helpful. If you come across anything where artist, title etc. isn't clear just make something up or write trackermatte cause that means no one else knows. As I said, I didn't upload most of these and they weren't meant to be "released".
  20. Yup I did! I'm throwing them in the mix for a big collection of old tunes. Trying to pick out the best ones... Will probably be several volumes up for free download in the end.
  21. No they're all my tracks. There's no "wrong" way to archive that one :)
  22. 1. Up until 2007 the albums were just shared between friends, who then uploaded some of them. There are no true release dates for those. 2. Neurophastic and Cagliostro 4-4 were both track titles. 3. Sid Quincy is me, so yes :) 4. We collaborated on those. 5. I know I have the spectoculon tracks somewhere. And I think they're up on last.fm. I'll see if I can find the masters. 1 - Ok, thanks. I'll leave the date in MB blank 2 - Neurophastic and Cagliostro 4-4 - I am still confused... I have releases that supposedly have those titles. Can you clarify further? Artist: ????? You and your Quirky Choons have been added to MusicBrainz https://musicbrainz.org/artist/58d95eb7-e7cd-4146-bf53-b05ff65d6cc9 4 - Thanks for the info, I will add the release to MB soon. 5 - I didn't find them on LastFM, but if you have the masters I doubt any WATTMers would object to their resurrection! http://www.last.fm/music/Mattias+%C3%96stling/Spectoculon (Sorry, page cannot be found!) Hmm I don't have any clear answers regarding the titles, and this is where it gets really confusing even for me. Someone has a CD-R, rips it, tries to make sense of whats written on the envelope and takes a wild guess. I have no idea :) I think someone probably wanted the Cagliostro track and I wrote that on the envelope, added more tracks and called it a compilation. Again, not really a release, no artist, track titles are accidental etc.. It's just what was written on the CD-R, interpreted by someone else. Sorry I can't be of more help to you :P

  24. Awesome stuff, Noise. <3
