  1. Nightmail sounds like Freeman Hardy & Willis crossed with Analord 5. Can't believe he's still uploading stormers - it's gonna make people want to reassess their poll choices. Genuinely excited to see what comes next.
  2. No its gone now. It was only 3 tracks, Quad Rave, Glockenspiel Teac and 34.5p.e. Hope hes just refining it and will post a full one at some point. I reckon Catsquidge, moooow, SallyVingoe, subCan, Cooltempodemo, Knife Fork and Renegade Sonar will prob be on there too at least.
  3. Havent posted on this thread for a while, can't believe the quality of the continued uploads. We seem to be heading into RDJ album territory with all the strings and whimsy. Seems like a hybrid of ICBYD and MFM He could have easily put out a fantastic chill-out EP in 96-7 that had Ibiza Spliff, Cornish Spreek, 1974-94, Gear Smudge, Summerfestival, Autumn Travels and maybe the Clissold & LSB, Sekonda or something. Love that lead synth in Cornish Spreek. It seems to be the same patch used on ssbn + ssba, wonder what it is?
  4. yes we're thru the looking glass here. he still hasnt posted up any melodies from mars nor 5 trax from the joyrex tape
  5. lolpusher The question now is: was this white label the rumoured Rave Colonel 12"? As that nickname was attributed to Richard, it being his (very) old (now inactive) eBay account I believe... the rumour at the time was that the white label was Rave Colonel - K7ACID! and it was produced by some unknown french dude who died in a carcrash shortly after recording it (lol at the Rephlex boys, its always by a guy conveniently out of the country and non-contactable). K7 Acid by XP4 is listed as one of Richards favorite tracks in the Artificial Intelligence cd booklet years earlier so I imagine he has something to do with this as well.
  6. loving the batch of 88-90 era tunes he bunged up yesterday. this era of stuff is like straight up no-frills acid house we wouldnt hear again until analord.
  7. Cow Cud Is A Twin? it has an Albertoish chord progression as well.
  8. That's by Squarepusher, not Aphex. Tom should upload it, yes! Yeah I agree, it sounds like that acid line has the has the same sensibilities as Theme frm Ernest Borgnine. (and the warp 20 show appearance of course) What about the other 303 heavy tracks from around that time that were rumoured to be by the Rave Colonel. heres one of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78H1ims6vWA#t=81
  9. Its ziggomatictastic at the end. Definitely proto drukqs agreed. nice to hear some of the missing puzzle pieces, tho its a really great track in it's own right. bassline reminds me a bit of Cilonen as well.
  10. Yes! Reminds me a lot of tracks like [tree] or [parallel lines] off SAWII. Beautiful but with an undertow of horror.
  11. Difficult to say, but probably not that recent. The synth sound is similar to tracks like Weakling Child, Flim, and the way the drums are sliced/compressed the fx cycling is reminiscent of more Windowlicker/Drukqs sound. And the melody is a little similar to Avril 14th in parts.
  12. The last half of Bradley Echoes sounds like a sketch of the last part of Xmas Evet10.
  13. I must say the occasional tape degradation on the 88-90 era tunes adds a pleasing William Basinski-esque quality to the tracks.
  14. what? didnt he said all druqks tracks were new, 200 of which he did in 2 years? I always thought a few of the simple beat tracks/ambient ones were a bit older, cant remember where i got that from. still that beat could have been knocking aound for a while, the song doesnt strike me as a druqks outtake.
  15. yeah, the Orban Eq beat. Remember tho Drukqs was compiled from a wide range of trax from a long time period as well. Prob still mid-90s ish.
  16. Yes he lived in a house with Global Goon, presumably at the time this track was made.
  17. I wonder how long it'll take until.. "The rate of change of flux" "to u 4 me off wax III" "auto bass stomping machine" "the squidge that came from venus" will pop up? :) BoB Morgan's Mistake from one of Manuel Sepulveda's tapes has already appeared tonight so you never know!
  18. lol its Bob Morton, Miguel Ferrer's character from Robocop
  19. Yes, they seem like a new romantic band a little late on the bandwagon. Also does this mean that Sline is some kind of alternate take/version of this mix? They sound similar. The mp3 is tagged as Jap Flute Energy Rave, and maybe the 'Sl' in Sline is a reference to Sand Lowe. And they were uploaded off the same DAT within a song of each other.
  20. Looks like likes and number of plays have been hidden - for Richard's eyes only from now on. Actually bodes well for possible release of the most popular tracks possibly? Yes. This is all idle speculation, but if the plans from that 2010 interview come to fruition (like Syro and the modular trax did) then maybe he is planning an unreleased best of and this whole endevour might be an overly generous marketing/promotional experiment to help him finally whittle down a tracklist for a single release. It would explain why Warp seem to be ok with it if they're gonna see some cash at the end. If that's true then we might be able predict what will appear judging from reactions on here/elsewhere and the last known play/likecount.
  21. I wonder if those two modular synthesis/field recording albums featured any of the material from the noyzelab interview. there is about an hour of stuff there.
