  1. That had better not be the real tracklist. only two new tracks? and honestly, maelstrom? that's the worst of all of the steinvord tunes.

who's to say that they're new. i do hope so, but they might just be one of his untitled (titled) tracks.

  2. let's see someone here flesh out something as good as this

He gets pay to make music .. i paid to listen, i did not like the product and as a PAID costumer i have the right to express my opinion.

you have yourself to blame to throw your money on something you dislike. that's what preview clips are for.

  3. ok i've just been listening to the album -obviously i didn't pay for it- and my vomiting opinion is: IT FUCKING SUCKS!!! :emotawesomepm9:

some very interesting ideas in "airbrite" and "zunker" though, the only tracks i would have kept personnally. a few interesting sequences here and there through the album, an orgy of flat melodies, boring clichés and shameless tuss/afx wannabe-ism, just the way i expected it.

despite that, the album is interesting on a technical level. too bad he's just a follower. and has absolutely no talent for melodies (according to me).

    good day.

yes yes you've told us about 10 times in this thread why you don't like monolith's debut album on rephlex records.

why did you even bother to illegally dl it? seems like you already made your opinions clear to us when you heard the previews.

    motherfucker! :)

  4. i think you're being a bid childish and unfair comparing monolith to afx. nothing wrong with being inspired by the tuss sound, but putting your own ideas and soul into it . it's actually quite refreshing.

when it comes down to it, judge the music for the music, simple as that. in this case one of the most exciting new artists to appear in electronic music.

  5. After listening and discovering the awesomness of Meathole for the past two days, it's quickly becoming my favourite.

i was late in the game becoming a fan of venetian snares, only this year i decided to catch up on what he had been doing for the last few years. i wasn't really into his earlier releases but everything after 2005 is mostly brilliant stuff.
