Slick album but I have a lot of the same sentiments as Rook.
Favorites thus far are probably Tankakern, FwzE, Chenc9, The PLC and Rale. Paralel Suns is pretty slick too. I like some of the more downbeat/ambient tracks on this album and hope they explore that sound more.
The first 10 seconds of Bnc Castl remind me of some other song but I can't place where I've heard those sounds.
you probably heard them in squarepusher - song: our underwater tourch
and basicly all old dub music (King Tubby) has those type of spring reverbed drums

for the moaners who miss the old ae
"Autechre will release their new album 'Quaristice' on 3rd March 2008, featuring 20 tracks of pure temporal stimulation, as bleak and futuristic as you will have come to expect from the most uncompromising creative duo of our time, but peppered with wrenching emotive melodies reminiscent of Amber and Incunabula. The record is Rob Brown and Sean Booth's 9th album, and follows 2005's Untilted."
sounds good. more danceable, melodic ae is what i'm hoping for. i really didn't like untilted, does my head in. same with confield and draft, but atleast they had a couple of good tracks.

i just took a few intresting tracks from his sets, hoping that some of you would recognize a few of them (thank you!). these mp3s are not really intended to be potential unreleased afx tracks.
though "afxfuckery" is most definetly a work of RDJ and "tregaskinshuffle" sounds like one. abovetheclouds, snowbomb and squishy are suspicious

danger danger is The Neon Judgement "fashion party"

303descry is from his Norway gig in Blaa Oslo 2002
anarchy, electroviolin & afxfuckery he played in Paris 2002
the rest is from the snowbombing festival in Austria 2005

is "above the clouds" Synthacon 9?
nope. only unreleased bizness in this thread. however, about 2-3 of them might be non-afx released or unreleased music. if anyone can id them, please do.

dug up a few tracks & EQ-ed them to be more listenable

"'WE LUV APHEX - a major homage to one of the world's most fearless producers...
you can win his entire Warp back-catalog on the show and also an incredible piece of e-mail art that Richard D sent to me in 1999... promising a Breezeblock mix 'soon' ;-/ "
"hey hey... it's NOT an Aphex mix... just a tribute to him with lots of really interesting voices talking about his astonishing influence.. STILL waiting for a mix 6.5 years later... sigh... "
"speaking in the piece are Mike Paradinas of Planet Mu, Luke Vibert, Adem, Tom Middleton, Oliver Ho, Alex Patterson from The Orb and Mixmaster Morris...who has one of the best anecdotes i've ever heard in my life about a Aphex turning down a remix for a major star...;) ma.. x"
