Actually her book club is quite good, it's a nice balance of important intellectual novels and more mainstream stuff. I mean she is actually telling American plain people to read GGM's Love in the Time of Cholera or Ken Follett's Pillar of Earth or East of Eden instead of Da Vinci code crapolas or Twilight

That's a great book, but don't consider it autobiographical. Dylan writes (and adopts) a very blurry line between reality and fiction, whatever he creates.

You saw the color or the black&white version of The Mist? The B&W makes it really awesome.

After you've finished reading House of Leaves, try to check out a little on the internet about it (there are a lot of stuff on it), you'll find that the whole universe "outside" just plain reading the novel is as interesting as the content of the book! Crazy things you didn't find the first reading, a lot of forum content and analyzing, etc...

It's best to only read two books at the same time, one fiction one non-fiction. That works really well.

It's WARP man, they have no clue.

WARP records have always been one of the worst label to market their own stars. It's been like that for decades, they continually try and fail each time.

WARP records never really know how to market their "big 4" anyway. As much as they seem to be trendy, as a label they are really conservative A simple friggin 2 minute sample of the album on their website, or a mini promo site would have been enough to create a lot more positive buzz for their business.

What? You don't know? Back when Confield was released there was a micro site on WARP which basically was a Java applet which animated the Confield artwork. You really then understood what the album cover was, in relation with space and time.
