  1. Children made this cartoon on stop-motion workshops last week.
  2. Porco Rosso is probably the most romantic anime I have ever seen and probably one of the more touching stories anyhow.
  3. Lucy, you're a bit of a genius with that last one. I must admit I'm a fan by now and like seeing this thread much more because of your posts.
  4. It's ironic how much creative energy there is sometimes in not having confidence. I probably built most of everything I do today on having low self esteem.
  5. I've heard this one before. Please don't let that be a demotivator. Just keep making pictures, because you got something very solid there.
  6. Recently watched: Lock stock and two smoking barrels: 9/10 So much fun Jackie brown: 8/10 great atmosphere but a bit long From dusk till dawn: 7/10 It was great until all that splatter action that was over focused on effects. Reservoir dogs: 8/10 A cool movie
  7. Acrylics. As soon as winter ends I'll be taking up oils again and then the real classic era will begin!
  8. I made this painting of a local traditional mask for a masquerade festival
  9. What? Look, my movie/film (not sure if you are being critical of the phrase "movie") watching is sufficiently satisfying for me. I really don't know what business it is of anyone's nor do I understand how someone can gauge or be conclusive towards how I watch movies. I try to respond to films I have just watched quickly because my thoughts on it are fresh. And I try to add information on what I liked or didn't so others here can use that information as a guide for deciding which film they want to watch next. Typically I find it more useful to expand on films that I enjoyed overall than films I didn't like, but on occasion it is fun to break down something you didn't enjoy, especially if there is already an active debate/discussion about it. It was a failed pun. disgusted/discussed seemed a bit similar. Ah well
  10. Taxman - Great shots! Where specifically is this? I live in Bellevue and definitely interested in seeing this in person Also - Here's another colored pencil creation for Quiet Entertainer's latest single. This is the final image in this series because it is the final release/single from his Dream Sequencer ep, of which I posted album art a couple pages back. You can listen here: http://music.quietentertainer.com/album/dream-sequencer if interested. This is neatly done.
