  1. this one? http://www.discogs.com/Mr-76ix-Hits-Of-76ix-Par2/master/84703 he's on skam, I've never heard of him though - is he good?
  2. There's another scan of the cat where she moved during the process, I decided I'm gonna use it as cover for a film, if I ever make a film with a related topic
  3. And I scanned my cat, it's also a strange picture
  4. Isn't that from the stupid film with the whole bunch of unscary ghosts? How was I supposed to be actually afraid of the nice-titted "princess" one ...
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akVlTUdukSU Why do I know this? Where's it from? no idea, just a random google image search
  6. ^ mcbpete actually stole this post out of my head TROG sounds like an 80's word as well. Like some Spider Man super-villain.
  7. eh? its a cat and a catfish having a bath. nothing strange about that maaaaaaannnnn really not sure what kind of cat that is.... any link on the topic would be great kthnxbye. Billov joined 2010, so he missed the onslaught. He couldn't have known. But seriously I do mean it, we are in DESPERATE NEED for some very detailed specification of the SPECIFIC type of cat we see in the picture...!
  8. Had a short break from the album, about a week or so, then I got hooked again today. Much fun!
  9. Skam News this confirms what VHS Head's brother, Kris, told me on Saturday about it coming soon. Way to wave your VIP-pass in everyone's face
  10. ^ I never got that one. What's going on...
  11. I'm often overwhelmed by new music so often I will only be able to recall two or three parts of an album consciously without listening a 2nd time. So I thought "wow this goes on for quite a bit" and couldn't distinguish the tracks all that well. But like I said, all this means is that the album is stylistically constant. Also I never look at track titles before I've heard the album multiple times and made my own associations with the tracks. Albums like this are the most fun to listen to once you've discovered all the good little bits.
  12. Honestly I'm glad it's many tracks and not-so-short. I tend to feel a bit cheated when an album is like 42 minutes. I know that's stupid cause of course 42 minutes of good stuff are better than 80 minutes of bad stuff, but still.
  13. "On a little time"? I don't even know what I was trying to say there. Anyways it's good.
  14. I thought so too initially, but I'm telling you, this album is gonna grow over our heads on a little time. Remember your first listen to draft 7.30 or Untilted and compare it to the way you see it now. I bet there's hidden gems all over the place on Trademark Ribbons.
  15. So the guy who did all those trailers back then was the same guy who still did all the "This Summer ... "-ads a couple of years ago? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaBt_bXlXmk
  16. Can't really help that much identifying elements since I barely witnessed two years of the 80's and obviously didn't have much in English, but that "Lock your doors, they're coming ... !"-sample is for sure taken from some movie trailer from back then... it's THAT voice. But I have no idea what movie.
  17. I got it! It arrived a couple days before my birthday but I waited, you know, to surprise myself with it. One thing that did surprise me for real was that my mother just went to the store and bought Move Of Ten completely out of the blue. That was a complete hit as I didn't have it yet. Also Season 1 of The X-Files. Gotta love it when parents still get it right. Anyways my bike recently broke as I was involved in some stupid accident. It was pretty old anyways and it wasn't worth it to get it fixed, so I also got a new bike and thought to myself, what could be more 80's than riding your brand new bike while listening to your walkman mp3player. So I did that with VHS Head. Unfortunately, like another childhood-flashback, I managed to break something already (part of the front wheel) so I had to stop the trip and get off the bike. I just finished listening to the album but I guess it's pretty safe to say that it will take tons of listens until I can really say anything about it. Some instant hits are there after all. The 2nd track and I think the one called Murder Cycles (how fitting) are really hot. Also I'm glad to find all my favorite bits from Mary Anne Hobbes broadcast thingie on it. Awesome! @mrgypsum - what's the exact story behind this link? Inside the album sleeve it says "Written and produced by Ade Blacow" (and apparently artwork by his brother?), so who exactly is Neil Scrivin?
