beautiful...can't get enough of this tune today morning.
-
no, i said i wish they would do it. but Mr. Len and Chaos haven't been hanging out any more. They both went their separate ways. I would die happy if they did a volume 2.
Many of those tracks were produced solely by EL-P. I would say check out Collecting the Kid and the We are all going to burn in hell mixtapes as well. Maybe even Cannibal Oxstrumentals which is solid in its own right.

Tyyabs is pretty good, but I made the mistake of going there on a saturday night. Had to wait in line for almost an hour.

If you like Lull, try and get your hands on Scorn's live collaboration with Surgeon called Certain Beyond All Reasonable Doubt. Great recording of a one off ambient/drone performance in 1998..
-
Maybe see you there then !
For sure, i will probably only decide if i'm going tomorrow.

I got suspended three times (substance abuse) and hung out with bad apples from the senior classes. I was expelled during my eleventh year but managed to get back in after appealing to the eduction board. I sobered down during my final year. I miss school!

Im surprised nobody has mentioned Alec's last album on Mille Plateaux, Les Étoiles Des Filles Morte. No breakbeats or vocals in sight, just chilling ambient soundscapes. Imo, a truly accomplished recording. Easily amongst his best..
One of the first HardDisc cut up albums ever, made in 1996. Very musique concrete, very 40s/early 50s electronics like in very obscure horror/sci-fi movies. Alec Empire influenced by Schonberg. -
My personal favorite is his collaboration with Techno Animal

can someone pm me a link please?

imo this is the wrong place to be focusing time and energy on right now. even though any hope for a binding agreement at COP15 seems to have been dashed, distractions like this never help. how about focusing on something a little more substantial...like the recent UK MET findings which make the IPCC figures look seriously underestimated?
