On a Dahmer tip after finishing the graphic novel by the guy that knew him in high school. The author cites this as a source of info for some parts of the book, like the bit in the vid where he confirms he was the one who stole the pickled fetal pig from his science classroom.
Unfortunately it begins with that really heavy handed and over dramatic 'murica treatment and the interviewer is a cock but otherwise it's pretty interesting.

Derf and Derf Backderf are the pseudonyms of American artist John Backderf, most famous for the comic strip The City, which has appeared in a number of alternative newspapers since 1990. In 2006 Derf won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for cartooning.[1]I only just found that out, I assumed he was using a pseudonym because of the subject but apparently not.
Anyway, I recommend. He actually was friends with Jeffrey Dahmer in High School.
