suspensful and enjoyable enough for a 7 i think, though i was a bit disappointed to find out that the real events played out quite a bit different from the movie.

"..traveling with real Canadian passports and forged entry documents, made it easily through security at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport. After a short delay because of mechanical difficulties with the jet airliner, the group of eight boarded Swissair flight 363 for Zurich, Switzerland."

so no thuggish crazy eyed guards holding them up, no running through the airport, no pushing some flight attendant lady and shooting the glass doors, no chasing the plane on the airstrip.

  2. Are such right-wing Christians, particularly "end times" oriented ones, in any form of power in Europe? (i.e. the pro-Israel "the end is nigh!" types, not just the xenophobic, secular right-wingers.)

not that i know of, certainly not in sweden anyway. such things might be an issue in the more religious parts of europe, italy or portugal or whatever, dunno.

  3. screener season!

the impossible - better than expected, and even though a lot of the acting was awful, the mom and the son were great. seems to get a lot of hate over the fact that the family it's based on were spanish, while the family in the movie are british. whatever, 7.5/10

django unchained - fun, but nowhere near as good as inglorious basterds. 7/10

hitchcock - i dunno, a 6? scarlett johansson is in it which is something i guess. pretty forgettable.

zero dark thirty - 2½ hours of cia talk and gratuitous torture scenes. zzz5/10

the hobbit - did i rate this already? i can't remember, 7.5 i think, i had fun but the progressions was weird and some scenes seemed out of place or dragged on for too long, like the random stone giant fight scene wtf? also, the violence felt more cartoony compared to the original trilogy.

house at the end of the street - fffuck off 1/100

    monsieur lazhar - 8/10, could've been longer.

  4. don't really get the "the perks of being a wallflower hate" (in general, not on watmm). best movie of 2012 imo, and i usually can't stand "coming of age" dramas. felt sorta like a 90s version of the breakfast club.

live action based on an anime i used to be totally hooked on back in the day when i was into anime. not quite as shit as i expected. it's got all the usual overacting and overdramatization you get from japanese films like these, still though, 6.5/10, if nothing else then just for the fight/sword scenes alone.

  6. Just completed the 5th episode of The Walking Dead..

Are you kidding me?! That was IT?! I don't know how to create spoiler tags on here, but:

    SPOILERS BELOW!!!

I spent so much damn time trying to find Clementine, learn her all this stuff about survival, telling Christa and Omid to take care of her and THAT'S how the game ends?

Sure, the conversation with the kidnapper was very well done and the final goodbye was hella emotional, but still. What happened to Christa and Omid? Am I supposed to think that those two people in the distance in that scene after the credits were them? How did she even get out of that city filled with walkers? What the shit happened?

The story in this game was very very well told all the way through but this ending was bullcrap. People have been bitching and moaning about the ending to Mass Effect 3 for nine months now, but somehow this is okay? I'm disappointed, to say the least.

ep 1-5 was just season 1.

bought hotline miami and FTL last night, been playing FTL for the past 2 hours, awesome game.
