Thanks to @Jogi for the reaction to my comment in here because this had slipped my mind and upon listening now, yes, this is exactly what I crave from Objekt's music. I enjoy his albums and his EPs and singles both, though I understand why people prefer his shorter form releases. Incredible sound design and programming both, Hertz is absolutely a one of a kind producer and DJ and both Bad Apples and Ballast are potent reminders of this fact. Hope I get a chance to see him live again before it's too long.

i only listen to releases in limited edition silver cases so i will likely miss this one
Probably, since Quaristice (versions), while a limited edition was I believe a steel case

I'm relatively new to Roel's music and am thoroughly delighted to have found someone who crafts such lovely music in this side of music that is both neither strongly derivative and thoroughly psychedelic

Chiastic Slide is absolutely incredible and has long been my favourite album (here on WATMM we can accept that EP7 is decidedly an EP without any fuss or muss, I presume) of the "pre-Confield era", so having to answer this was both straightforward and a little heartbreaking, tbh.

Roel Funcken and Cor Bolten are set to deliver us an album named for the plant(s) used in the brewing of the psychedelic ayahuasca/yage brew in its title and track names, along with some other peripherally related content. Named for the ayahuasca plant itself, Banisteriopsis caapi is one of two albums this winter Legiac are putting out about psychoactives and is due in February. The other which focuses more on deliriant compounds such as those found in datura is called Vespertine and is due this January.

Chiastic Slide is undoubtedly a classic and one of my favourite Ae albums. Its purported influence being drawn from psilocybin adds to my enjoyment of it and it is really quite unlike many other albums of its time. But the depth and alienness of Confield grows with repeated listens and clearly lays the groundwork for other future favourites like Quaristice, Exai, elseq, NTS Sessions

Yellowman doesn't look like the boogeyman, he's simply an albino ffs

Listening now and so far, so good.

Cautiously somewhat optimistic about this one (not listening to the singles out already). One thing's for sure, the artwork reminds me of the lovely psychedelic kitsch of In Sides
-
I love the consistency of sound and vibe throughout this

Looks dope, @TheBro! If it's good for old school hip hop and 80s funk I bet you could get some good electro out of it for sure. Wow, 70 quid, that's a steal, well scored
