Nice lineup, would be picking this one up for the Seefeel track alone.

PLUS does seem to have the famous autechre 'grower' effect in spades… first 2/3 of the album was sounding absolutely banging on the latest listen.
I still feel it drops off a bit on those last 3 tracks though, TM1 still isn't doing much for me and the 2 previous tracks sound very much like SIGN outtakes.- 2

Yeah just through the door here. Still no dispatch email which is odd,but at least they're out.
-
Nah I order from bleep a fair bit and you get an 'order has been dispatched' email even with standard shipping. If they've fucked up the UK stock levels or something I can live with a delay but an email update one way or the other would be nice.

UK orders right? No idea what's happening there.

Thanks to the folks that recommended Shadow thief of the sun, arrived last week and it's definitely the sort of ZF album I'm into.
Will probably pick up one more from the new batch, any others similar to this? -
Goddamn will they just call it already this can't be doing anyone's blood pressure any good.
Also I know it's been pointed out many times, but it shouldn't be this agonisingly close when Biden has FOUR MILLION more votes than the other guy.- 1

Yeah I can't quite get a grip on TM1 open either. Those fluttery arpeggios just seem too random and goofy to me. Still holding out for an autechre 'click' moment though.

Also could Imago be a reference to this super-obscure cult synth-pop release?

I'm liking this one more than Age Of, but I'll still have to cut/edit a few tracks in order to actually enjoy it. That mumble rap bullshit on track 7 has to go for a start.
-
Yeah, thought I was enjoying it but thank god this guy's here to point out I'm actually not.

The rytm is the kit I've really spent the most time with out of all my hardware.Any Analog Rytm users in here ? Tempted to buy one since I looking for a good drum machine for quite some time, feedbacks would be appreciated !
It's kind of quirky and has a lot that could be better (the pads suck on the Mk1, the stock sounds are flat as hell and the sample management is really bizarre), but overall you can be really creative with it - whenever I'm stuck in a rut just firing it up and messing around with it usually gives good results.
Tried lots of different workflows and currently using it with lots of 808 / 909 samples along with the dual VCO settings.
If you haven't used elektron stuff before be prepared for a month or so of WTF frustration but once you start finding your own sweet spots it's a great bit of kit.- 2

Glad n cur is up there with the better bonus tracks.
You never know if you're getting top-tier stuff like medrey or keyosc, or some bizarre afterthought like xektses sql or Zurich 2001. -
Hmm maybe the later date could be for new orders then? Hope so.
Uhm, my vinyl has been dispatched on Friday.
-
Has anyone noticed the vinyl release date on bleep is now Oct 30? CD still going out on 16 though.

Winter 1995 and I picked up Anvil Vapre on a whim from the new releases in HMV Manchester while up visiting a friend. Listened to it later round his place, sounded very strange and couldn't quite work out if I liked it or not. There was definitely something there though.
Couple of days later I was heading back on the train so bought Amber on tape for the journey. This one sounded pretty great actually - listened to it on repeat for the journey. Once I got back I had a smoke before giving it another go - it totally 'clicked' and blew my mind in the process. One of my favourite ever musical experiences.- 1

All preorders on bleep now have downloads enabled.Excuse my ignorance, but how are you people managing to listen again to 'Signs'?

FLACs incoming... I think it might be time to give it another listen. Headphones this time.

Following the last track with digitals and a second album announcement would be a hell of a baller move, just saying.

I wasn't expecting crazy emotional heart-on-sleeve synth epics for this album, but goddamn if it's not just what I needed.

Maybe Aphex can team up with Ian Brown and Noel Gallagher to form a 'plandemic' supergroup.

Yeah this is excellent. A couple of production tweaks aside it sounds like it could have come out any time in the last 20 years, but it absolutely nails the sound it's going for. Definitely worth picking up.

Good god... the enlightened centrism on this thread. I don't know how anyone can watch that debate (or anything else over the last 4 years TBH) and decide that their hot take will be '...but Biden's old'.

Not sure this is bleep thing - all other UK retailers have it even higher at £40... double the price of a standard album. The Bleep price is inflated by them not POR, they wanted to keep it as low as possible.
Either way too pricey for me...
