very few infos for the moment but Touch should release 2 Fennesz albums this year:

Schedule for 2007

New albums from KK Null [due March 2007] | Oren Ambarchi | fennesz sakamoto | Stephan Mathieu | Jean-Paul Dessy | Touch 25 Live | Spire Live + | Touch 25 Recipe Book | Fennesz | Philip Jeck | Marhaug Asheim

ah ah, that first fennesz/sakamoto collab cd was fantastic... + a solo album + some live recordings (Spire / Touch 25)...

That's awesome. I'll definitely be picking these both up when they come out.

Fantastic stuff, his last collab with Ryuichi Sakamoto were super tops so can't wait for that one. Plus Fennesz is always magic. Should be good :)

interesting info/ forthcoming release, including new fennesz music, copy past from touch:

This month we cut a vinyl-only release of Spire live, 'Fundamentalis' at Transition, London. Exclusive tracks from Fennesz, Philip Jeck, BJNilsen, Charles Matthews & Marcus Davidson, this gatefold 2 x LP will be released on Autofact later in 2007. Unreleased tracks from Spire Live in Brussels and Spire Live in Göteborg will be included.

should be out soon.. if you heard the previous spire cds, you know how good it should be!!

What's with Touch doing vinyl-only releases lately? At least toss a digital download version in, I'd gladly pay for Fundimentalis and both the 7" releases they've put out recently, but I'm not gonna shell out for vinyl.

i dunno, well touch is hardly a vinyl only label, most of their albums are still cds ; but vinyls sounds & look better. just for that fundamentalis cover, i'm glad its on vinyl!

Fantastic picture. Some Austrian village or something? But where is that new solo-album we are waiting for?

Fair enough, but I still want to be able to buy it digital. People value and want vinyl will buy vinyl, consciously choosing to not sell to those of us who don't is kinda stupid to me. I'd happily pay for the Chris Watson 7" on CD or flac/mp3 - same for the new Spire, if they put it out on vinyl only then I won't be paying for it. You listening, Touch?
