You broke up the other day right? Fuck yeah the Birthday Party was something I hit HARD when my last relationship ended

Yeah but it's more like Murder Ballads and Nick Cave's hymns. Nobody's Baby Now is like exactly what I feel at this very moment. No sarcastic, snarly Nick. Weird is that I just bought today a ticket for Nick Cave in Montreal. Should I go there completely wasted next month%?????

Now I'm durnk listening to Neil Young' Tonight's the Nigth . FUCK I just want to throw myself down this 3rd story appartment.

If you want to get drunk and cry to a Nick Cave ballad, "Sad Waters" always gets me...

Anyway I think you should definitely get drunk before you go and see him

So I got quite drunk after work last night, I made quite a lot of posts on WATMM when I got home. But I have no regrets, even though I have to go to work again today! It's more or less the weekend!

I know. But my mate had broken up with his girlfriend. And I have no self-control. I did have a good dream featuring Gary though.

Shit, thejacketloose is making me feel guilty

Sorry mate, it's not my place to do so.

No, that Belgian author is right, it's my conscience. I honestly never had you pegged as the clean-living type though.

Ace choice, Iain. That album takes me right back to when I bought it. I remember being shocked by the inner sleeve with the line drawing of that woman...you know. The title track is cool too, in fact you've made me want to go out and spend money that I shouldn't on the CD. Just as i was getting some work done...

'Hey Joe' is another of my fave Nick Cave songs. Tense as fuck and ideally suited for a really resentful sort of mood, an awesome fucking cover.

Thanks for bringing Nick Cave back into my life. I only got into 'Kicking Against The Pricks' and 'Your Funeral...My Trial', but that's enough to secure genius status for me. Not to mention 'Release The Bats' and 'Ghosts Of The Civil Dead'.
