I understand the man loves Proyas and any movies that allow him to ponder the universe but this is ridiculous. Four stars? Fuck. He almost died 3 times apparently. I dont know how that happens...its unfortunate. Hes definitely been more forgiving. I listened to his commentary on Dark City, and he loves that movie with good reason. Its great stuff. And at the end credits one of the things he says is, I dont know what else Alex plans on doing but Ill be watching very closely. He wants Proyas to succeed, and thats great. I would just like to figure out how much of his praise is just like a general interest in the subject matter more than the actual movie, much like his Watchmen review. He didnt talk about that movie in his review or journal entry at all, just ranted about Dr. Manhattan and quantum mechanics. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love 'Knowing'.... it is hardcore! a very well written script..... witty, frightening, inventive.... a bit derivative but not much film that comes out can be as original as its predecessors..... not saying something completely new can't be done.... the images are startling yet beautiful and very surreal at times..... the disaster sequences are some of the most fucked up, realistic, and might not should be shown to innocent beings.....could fuck them up real good I am going to see it again as soon as I can....
