Fear not! There's still another version of the million posts to be won: that which doesn't include the hidden LTM posts! Currently we're at 933,176.

 

Even if there was a secret forum/sub forum (which there is not), the post counts in all forums, regardless of if your status allows you to see them, count towards the total post count.

Because the post count on the board is a count of all extant posts; the post ID number is an incremental number, that regardless of a post still existing or not, gets counted. So, when posts are deleted, post # 65535 is not reassigned back into the pool - it no longer exists.

 

The board index is an accurate measure of posts, since only what you can read is what's relevant - the tens of thousands of posts that have probably been deleted since this version of the board came online don't matter anymore, and hence their not needing to be counted in the total post count.
