Does it get better? Naw..I was hoping for a lot more in the vein of that first page. But it's just sort of a humdrum mini-ethnography of porn culture. AJW Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 Interesting read, reminded me of how different the Porn episode by Louis Theroux was compared to this, how times and porn have changed since the late nineties. There was a production company Louis interviewed called Evil Angel or something like that. Back then that was cutting edge hardcore. Nowadays it would fall into the category of soft/average. I mean obviously the most interesting thing here is the emergnece of fucked up extreme abuse porn like on the first page. but she drops that completely and turns to talking about how, like, the recession sucks and stuff. The article desperately needed an interview with the the girl from the first page, one of the male performers, one of the producers, fucking anyone connected to that stuff to get their reasoning on why it's ok to physically and emotionally degrade a woman until she breaks down crying. it's some truly disturbing psychopathic shit. In the modern world these boundaries are more blurred and the less visible domination, the more politically correct. Bondage brings back and perverts the roles of dominater and submissive.
