Right now I'm about to crack open a bottle of corsendonk abbey brown ale, pictured here: I also had a chance to meet the founder and the brewmaster of boulevard brewing company this weekend and had some of their smokestack series beer. they were extremely, extremely delicious. a revelation in beer for me. and salt of the earth people, too. so I picked up a "double wide" and a "saison brett," which i sill consume later. beers that come in 750ml bottles. keltoi Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 my favourite local stocks an amazingly diverse selection of beers from around the world and they're always changing them... from small breweries from the uk, ireland, europe, asia, india, austrailia, south america, jamaica, etc, etc, etc but i don't recall them ever getting any US micro-brewery stock. the demand is definately here for tastier, more characterful beer. i suppose public opinion on US beer may well be sullied by the big corps tasteless, watery piss. might be time to change that perception.
