750ml bottles of beer

I just picked up some 750ml bottles of beer at the liquor store. Right now I'm about to crack open a bottle of corsendonk abbey brown ale, pictured here:

I also had a chance to meet the founder and the brewmaster of boulevard brewing company this weekend and had some of their smokestack series beer. they were extremely, extremely delicious. a revelation in beer for me. and salt of the earth people, too. so I picked up a "double wide" and a "saison brett," which i sill consume later.

i just had corsendonk abbey brown for the first time a few weeks ago. i thought it was extremely delicious and belgian style brews aren't usually my first choice. it maintained its head for the entire glass. ever tried any of the rogue series? their hazelnut brown nectar is quite the tasty treat.

the burden is on your shoulders to come up with the demand for it

people act like the us exports mcdonalds, wrestling, and pisswater just to spite the rest of the world, when in actuality, it's because the Redneck is universal and not exclusively american.

my favourite local stocks an amazingly diverse selection of beers from around the world and they're always changing them... from small breweries from the uk, ireland, europe, asia, india, austrailia, south america, jamaica, etc, etc, etc but i don't recall them ever getting any US micro-brewery stock.

the demand is definately here for tastier, more characterful beer. i suppose public opinion on US beer may well be sullied by the big corps tasteless, watery piss. might be time to change that perception.
