Bad Movies

i think i'm at the point where i enjoy poorly made, unintentionally funny movies more that good ones.

you know, like Troll 2, Biodome, Nicolas Cage's version of The Wickerman, the most recent Indiana Jones, Battlefield Earth, Dragonball etc...

me and some friends have movie nights every once in a while where we get a handful of films that are either notoriusly bad, asian gore, old horror or sci fi, and cross our fingers that one of them is hilariously poorly made.

anybody likeminded?

I used to know a girl, she had a dozen guys. One of them found out about it... beat her up so bad she ended up at a hospital on Guerrero Street.

i guess im preaching to the choir, but the Room was an amazing experience....the youtube clips are great moments, but there are a couple you just have to watch within the entirety of the movie to truly appreciate.

This this this, a thousand times this. Whatta movie.

If you have 2hours to spare, 2 mates to spare and a crate of beer to spare. I'd recommend Behind Enemy Lines:Colombia. Fucking hilarious.

jesus christ, they did a sequel to Behind Enemy Lines?

the original couldn't be much crappier.

Im not even sure if this has anything to do with the film with Owen Wilson. None of the same actors are in it as far as I know. And its produced by WWE, you know those wrestling lads.

i almost want to say the paperboy was one of those kinds of movies the Lifetime channel would show to emphasize the need for an anti-stalking law or something, grade A hilarity.

I just watched Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe with Jesse Ventura and Jim Belushi. If that counts, not sure.

a classic is Miami Shakedown. Starring one of the actors from Miami Vice.

just consistently poor on every level. and i still have no idea what it was trying to achieve, it just seemed like alot of kidnapping / police / miami stereotypes, poorly linked together with a weak meaningless plot.

also, filmed on a home camera in 1993.

I tried to watch Neighbours starring his brother and Dan Aykroyd earlier. Pure crap.

You should all keep an eye on secret-cinema for open sign-ups. There's a section just for bad films.

My brother looooves this kinda thing, and it used to piss me off a lot because he's constantly trying to get me to watch Dracula 3000 (I still haven't). But now I think I'll give them a chance because I've fallen in love with Troll 2, and also seeing the Dragonball movie in the cinema with a couple of friends was one of the best experiences I've ever had at the movies. It was so fantastically bad.

Also, I recently found the old animated G.I.Joe movie and I loved it, partially cos it was nostalgic but also largely because it is so fantastically bad.
