loved the idea, but the vocals seemed bizarrely disconnected (both in harmony and rhythm) from the underlying beat. try tuning that up and you'd have something fun here! you've got a pretty nice voice, too.

Thanks. I'm still self conscious about the sound of my voice.

 

It's in C minor, except the third scale degree is E natural instead of Eb. It's a weird scale, since it's neither a traditional scale or a mode, but it tends to work. The harmony works fine, because I write it out beforehand. The rhythm is dead-on with the melody synth behind it. It starts on the 'and' of one, but plenty of songs do that...

 

post up the vocals and track separate so someone can autotune it... I dare someone

i would process the fuck out of those vocals...

 

reverb slap delay kinda thing

 

and would play around with the tunning... just for effects sake!!!

 

and then take lots of the bottom end off...
