The unusual and unique melody maker Joseph Nothing releases his new album "SUPER EARTH" from Virgin Babylon Records on 15 April, under his new musical moniker the Joseph Nothing Orchestra.

Joseph Nothing Orchestra's sound includes an ensemble of Hardware synthesizers, the live drumming and slapping bass of Dan Yoshikawa, and Joseph Nothing on acid synth and vocoder.

Their sound is not rock, techno, or pops but creates world of another dimension which includes some of those elements.

This new album is based on the theme "where do humans come from?"Joseph's imagination and delusion go beyond our planet to produce an album of lyrical themes related to this topic .The lead track "Super Earth" tells a story set in the economic decline of Japan, of strolling drummer who meets a girl obsessed by visual images and the extraterrestrial. They meet a visitor from super earth, situated in a parallel universe, and begin musical communication.

You'll understand and enjoy more thoroughly after you read the liner notes by Joseph Nothing himself.

Like the Shambala records this slipped me by. Haven't listened to it yet, but these videos seem to regurgitate old tracks.

The title track is rocking as is the video. Joseph Nothing has a warm, energetic and playful style. I've been a fan since D.I.O and feel he should have more recognition for what he does.
