I agree with people saying Fatboy was a whole lot better back in the days! What's up with that Palookaville-album? The same with his dj-sets nowadays! Terrible shit he's playin! It was a whooole lot better when you listen some of his older sets.. Like the bouncy/noisy-hour from new years eve in -97! Great stuff!

These last years he has lost it totally! He can't even mix in tempo anymore!

 

Gave up the drugs and gone sober. That's why.

As long as Autechre, Aphex, BoC and Clark remain on the ball I don't worry.

 

I think FBS was at the right place, at the right time and rode in on a crest of the wave. He hit his peak and then didn't have enough ideas to retain it. And it's better to be sober with no creative ideas then off your face with no creative ideas.

 

Fat Boy Slim was defo an icon of that era. Even my mum knows who FBS is!!
