hey everyone.

I made a new track last night/ this morning. I thought you might like a listen.

the title of the thread says most of what i was going for. It's simple, something background sounding almost, but has orchestral instrumentation and qualities.

I hope you enjoy.

Agreed! Beautiful!

I would probably put a low pass filter on the rhodes-like chords to make them more bassy so the beautiful strings get more space. Oh, and I would die for some more reverb on those strings :)

Btw. it sounds like you're hitting some discordant tones at 1:15

Indeed this is very very nice. Very wintery too

 

I do just have one problem though, in the rhodes piano it tends have a few little clicky things that don´t sit that well in my ears sometimes. Just to give you a heads up! :)

I find it very boring and quite uninspired. Ambient has to use way more complex and dark elements to entertain me. This is like Beethoven slowed down 800 % ... :diablo: But taste is meant to be different, right?
