  1. Haha thanks WATMM, without you I would have never checked this out, and indeed, this shit slaps hard.
  2. Killer LP after a lot of recent Surgeon felt kind of formulistic to me, a very good suprise. This is proper techno and makes me wanna go out to sweaty basement raves, like others mentioned here. Probably you know this gem, but Surgeon and Ilian Tape are a match made in heaven:

9 years later, lol. Well the fabric mix is still legendary in my book. And the recent "Majestic Yes" EP is very nice and majestic indeed, though a lot of LPs and collabs were a bit too tribal for me. But probably that got covered elsewhere around here.
  4. Sweet, this second track is really getting me. Hoping for a rough and personal record, somehow Providence doesn't click at all with me and Blizzards should have ticked all the right boxes, but also feels somewhat hollow. If you have the chance to see him play, you should definitely go, as he is probably one of the best laptop live performers, period.
  5. By the way, ISS009 dropped, but this jam from "A" is too sweet:
  6. Haha, logging back in here first time since years to post something like this, but obviously I'm too late. Well I guess no more statements needed from my side regarding what I think of this, and just to make sure, I'm a fanboy since day one and his recent Berlin gig - one of the Boddy Riddle sets - was pretty sweet. True, though the textures on ETBOY are so amazing and crisp and sound so fresh even today. Content wise or so the stuff following is way more exciting.
  7. If IDM doesn't sound better in WAV/FLAC maybe mainstream does?
  8. Fantastic LP after strong EPs on Whities!
  9. Yes, liking this more than expected. I'm Pulling My Face Off is a little banger gem.
  10. The A-side reminds me very much of s/t Clark - the bassdrum is weak, I'm feeling like I've heard these melodies for the 100th time, the breaks come as expected, meandering through the several parts sounds like him trying desperately to give this more depth than it has. Okay, the end is pretty cool though. The B-side is something else, digging! After all really gives me hope that we get a Clark banger LP sometime again - still I'm feeling Clark lost me around 2012...
  11. It's a nice and diverse ambient listen, but I think you can feel it's actually music for a TV series. Hope there'll be a proper dancy Clark LP coming soon after that. Did he actually leave Warp or why is he back on his own Throttle imprint?
  12. Well even Mykki Blanco couldn't save it. Well executed but boring for me though I love "Human Energy". Would love to hear both explore more experimental stuff like in the old days with this retro-neon sound palette.
  13. "Claustro" does it for me, though I also liked "Rodent" and can understand the scepticism around.
  14. Really deep and lush LP after several spins, like his new less-is-more vibe with the emotional melodies. Artwork is amazing as usual.
  15. Really good read, thanks for the input and well biased opinion. Next life I wanna become the strawman.
  16. Overmono are on fire, check them out and their solo releases. Kreggo's LP was amazing as well.
  17. Yep, not enough time in the world to consume all the good music. Is there something AtomTM didn't do?
  18. Woha thanks for the old footage, wish I was around that time. Banging new singles!
  19. This x 200 - can't get enough of that. Brutality at a new level, right? Can't think of any tracks that do the same for me... They dropped a new mixtape, usually high quality, anyone listened? https://www.residentadvisor.net/news/42833
  20. Hey, I'm playing a fine-ass version of "Black Snow" on acoustic guitar, it's heart-warming I tell ya
  21. What an amazing suprise, been listening to the Millie and Andrea-LP a lot lately Huge fan of Wonderland and their deconstructed club material, though I sometimes wish they would use another moniker to seperate the early "spritual" material if that makes sense?

    Clark - Death Peak

    Well where are the remixes
  23. Very very much looking forward, the press release is promising, sure this won't be a second Flatland.
  24. Uhm, don't you find this kind of offensive? Harpsichord is amazing, Piano does not much to me or maybe it needs more spins, always waiting for a heavy bassdrum to kick in, which never comes. Anyway this gives me hope that the next full-length could be less fuzzy and more adventurous again
