I'd use samples I've recorded myself if I had time. Like the Lynch track - hadn't heard that before. Cool track. i agree with TIMJ about maybe fixing up the drums, little more variety and mix better, or play with some different samples to see if they work better. Also it's sampled from a a Buddhist monk chant and the quality wasn't great - so I may redo them just recording my own vocal. The song starts at 01:32 for me. Really nice vibes westhead. I tend to stick to the same kits in Logic when I should be creating my own from scratch. I guess I'm stuck in a rut with using traditional drums sounds and patterns because that's my background - will definitely work on that though. This is all very useful feedback folks - thank you.
