Sprint has wasted 33% of their money Like radioshack and sears, I can't believe sprint is somehow a going concern in 2017 There's a logical fallacy in your conclusion Papa, but I won't hold it against you (unless you want me to ) Just saying it for snarky effect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Unless a proper "middle tier" can be cut from the bun in lieu of normal bisection, triple-decker burgers should only be accomplished with buttered, toasted bread (preferably Texas toast, which is thick-cut white bread that has been buttered and grilled). That or sourdough bread - goddamn, grilled sourdough bread for a burger - almost as good as a brioche bun. Almost.
  7. Again, because Jedi is both plural and singular, "The Last Jedi" could refer to Luke AND Rey being the last Jedi - Luke was truly the last Jedi since his failed attempt to establish a Jedi Order failed with Ben Solo going rogue and turning to the Dark Side. Kinda odd they put the Star Wars logo in red this time too:
  8. Lucasfilm/Disney has revealed the name of the eighth Star Wars movie: The Last Jedi Before you get up in a tizzy, remember - "Jedi" is both plural and singular, so don't think they are gonna kill Luke off (or... are they?)
  9. Dark Souls 3 second DLC out March 28th: The Ringed City
  10. My thoughts on the Switch: Nintendo is repeating the mistakes they made with the Wii U all over again: anemic launch lineup promised but likely poor third-party support overpriced accessories weak online (no virtual console to speak of for launch AFAIK) no standard multimedia features (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) To their credit, at least they went with USB-C as a standard connector - another proprietary connector would have been another repeated mistake. The biggest thing I see against the Switch is it's flagship game, Zelda, not even running in native 1080P/60 - that's quickly becoming the bare minimum these days for console gaming, and even the Wii U could achieve it (although Zelda on Wii U is only 720p/30; can't really see why/how this game pushes the Wii U (or the Switch) that hard; it honestly looks like a Wii U or PS3 game in terms of detail and quality). Nintendo is probably going to limit availability (either due to manufacturing deficits or to create demand), which will just frustrate gamers and parents alike, again hurting the console's chance of success. In a way, I hope the Switch fails just to finally prove to Nintendo they can't handle modern consoles, and should focus their efforts on software, which when it comes to their games they are very good at, and always have been. They could probably do Zelda on PS4/XBONE at 1080P/60 easily, and probably improve the visuals beyond what they currently are. Nintendo just doing software would be great, since they still could be uniquely Nintendo while doing it, but maximize their audience, which is good for their fan base and their bottom line. Let the first parties handle online, or subcontract out like they've done successfully in the past (Namco Bandai did the online for both Smash and Pokken Tournament). I dream of a day I can earn a Platinum trophy in Animal Crossing World on PS4.
  11. I read the empty space inside the dock is to accommodate USB > LAN adapters, so that makes sense. It also sounds like the Joy Con Grip that's included with the system is not the rechargeable version, and is just an empty plastic shell. for fuck's sake. another console w/o an ethernet port? and the grip not charging is gonna make the controller charging scenario so shitty... so you can only recharge the controllers by putting them in the dock or plugging the tablet with the controllers attached... so if you actually buy another set of controllers you need to buy the charging grip if you want to be able to charge them at the same time pushing the cost of a second controller to $110? plus the bundles they're selling certainly look like charging grips http://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/5670/5670003_sd.jpg;maxHeight=1000;maxWidth=1000 100% agree on the lack of ethernet port - I guarantee you that a ethernet port costs no more/less than a USB port; Nintendo is probably thinking "wow, we'll make residual sales from LAN adapters too". And by not having charging ports on the controller grip included with the console is just plain stupid - what about people who aren't going to take their Switch everywhere, or prefer playing at home most of the time? Now you have to spend another 30.00 for a plastic shell with a USB port on it to charge your controller. It's like Nintendo not including a fucking AC adapter with the 3DS - I mean, really!
  12. BOTW only clocks in at 13gb. the Treehouse Live stream showed them putting a 256gb EVO SD card in the handheld. That's still almost half the system memory - and the OS plus formatting will eat up some of that, so likely system memory is around 27-29 GB, like the Wii U. Good thing is you can increase that with standard SD cards.
  13. BOTW Wii U is confirmed for March 3 as well: http://www.polygon.com/2017/1/13/14261222/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-release-date-wii-u Well, that's just fucking stupid, but I guess they have no choice. You can buy a Wii U bundle (that comes with 2 games) PLUS Zelda for less than the Switch + Zelda. Maybe Wii U sales will increase? LOL
  14. Add that there will only be 4 launch titles, and most of the notable games aren't coming until later in the year - I think they HAD to get Zelda out otherwise the launch potentially would be a failure. It will be interesting to see if they delay the Wii U Zelda past 3 March as not to cannibalize Switch sales... They need to get a Pokemon and Animal Crossing game out for Switch ASAP
  15. Not in framerate, but in resolution - 720p undocked, 1080 (900 actual) docked. Switch accessory prices though: Extra dock (for the bedroom, etc.): 90.00 USD (!) Pro Controller: 70.00 USD (c'maaaan, this isn't an XBONE Elite Nintendo) Joy-Con Controllers: 50.00 USD EACH, or two for 80.00 USD (a bargain) I mean, that's just silly. Honestly, the games look no better than Wii U games, and I think the hardware should have been 250-280 USD max. Online will be free until Fall 2017 - after that, it's a paid service like PSN and XBONE GOLD (you do get 1 free NES and one free SNES game per month though) But, it's sold out everywhere, so Nintendo is doing something right!
  16. OK, not terribly impressed by the Switch (those accessory prices tho), but their new Parental Controls app video is amazing and cute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIhagVVGB9s FUCKING LOL - Bowser has Peach for his iPhone wallpaper! the switch will be region free. :^) Yes, but will the hardware default to the disc's region, or YOUR region (my bet is all the game software is on all discs regardless and only the labels/packaging are region-specific)
  17. Good price, but it being a Seagate makes me nervous. Then again, if it lasts 5+ years, it will have served its purpose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. My son's been doing that as well with friends... the way the cow familiar walks just cracks me up...
  19. Nintendo is finally going to provide all the deets on the Switch on the 12th and 13th this week... Also, someone's figured out how to add up to 90 games on a NES Mini Classic console...
  20. It was available for 10 USD over the holidays If you like shmups and a modern take on Defender, Resogun is probably one of the best on PS4. Still playing it constantly after 3+ years (was a PS4 launch title).
  21. Very nice write-up - hopefully you'll be willing to contribute it again to our Articles section of the new WATMM site coming soon...
