  1. Our first compilation, We Are The Music Makers | Volume One came out back in 2004. Since then, I've always wanted to do a Volume 2, following the same formula of having the community contribute tracks, vote on the best tracks by the community, and then have a professional-pressed CD of the release. It would be great if we could do a vinyl version as well, but of course that costs money - the way we did it back in 2004 was by getting at least 100 preorders to fund the CD pressing. This was long before things like Kickstarter, GoFundMe, etc. changed the crowdfunding landscape. Now, we could do the same, or maybe go the Kickstarter route like we did with the Caustic Window LP? Have stretch goals for vinyl versions, shirts, etc.? I'm 100% open to ideas, suggestions, etc. on getting this off the ground and making Volume Two a reality (and have fun doing it) - so let's hear some of your ideas and suggestions!
  2. Did you copy the link, or the image? From the previous post, it looks like you copied the link and not the image.
  3. Yeah! I played it to 100% completion on iOS... super fun game and great if you are a fan of Taito (now owned by Square Enix) game properties.
  4. I'm just seeing a "not allowed" icon - what kind of embed is this?
  5. Okay, this is very meta - Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch recreated in Little Big Planet 3 on PS4:
  6. You might want to wait if you were planning on getting the Switch version... loads of bugs and framerate issues
  7. Weird; one of the new kittens has gone missing (and looks just like your picture) - could they have made the transatlantic voyage?
  8. I actually saw the "Teach your Cat Gun Safety" book at the mall this weekend!
  9. Agreed; it's (probably) not a new track but nice to see they found the video Boards lifted the Societas artwork from...
  10. Amazon US (don't know if UK/ROW offers it) has Final Fantasy VII Remake (out in March 2020) for 42.00 after you apply the on-page 18.00 off coupon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZS80PC2
  11. Just finished series 3 of Designated Survivor after Netflix picked it up.
  12. Is that site disgusting with salsa?
  13. 1 year anniversary of Anthony Bourdain's suicide...
  14. New Samurai Shodown (Spirits) is great - beautiful game, deep gameplay. Playing through story mode atm.

I... may be mistaken on that! My understanding is/was WARP is pretty hands-off when it comes to A&R - I guess they were more hands-on in the early days! I guess I was wrong - I am sure the AAA has that info... I said "as far as I know" - I was obviously wrong!

I don't think (AFAIK) WARP had any input on what track(s) went on Incunabula, and that Roger and Salvatore determined the tracklisting/order.
  17. Oh, man - you really think I'm "trolling" by refusing to acknowledge that there has to be some of Boards of Canada's own music in this mix? Here's my opinion (whatever it's worth, and based on nearly two decades of dealing with record labels and artists): I don't think BOC intentionally misled anyone, least of all their fans - as we've seen time and again, the fans are more than capable of doing that to themselves. I asked WARP if there was any info they could share about what BOC are doing, and the response was "BoC is a mix and we don't know what a lot of it is or where it comes from" - I think WARP trust Mike and Marcus enough that they don't need to vet or pre-approve anything BOC would put out, since it would obviously reflect on them and WARP. I don't think putting BOC near the end of the programming schedule had anything to do with "building hype" - again, the fans do that to themselves. Now, do I think there are BOC tracks in that mix? Yes I do - until the interludes and that notable drone synth two at 57:05 is acknowledged or identified, the track listing provided to NTS only references music the band played, presumably so fans interested can seek out those artists/music.
  18. Exactly - the very fact that the track at 57:05 is not listed is rather suspicious... are any of the other interludes now known tracks? I bet not ?
  19. Amazing how people find this stuff! Oh, well done - really obscure and yet here we are!
