    the reboot of Jack Kirby's OMAC is seriously awesome. Also reading the new Batman Beyond Unlimited & Superman Beyond universe. Hoping to pick up Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1 TPB next week.

    Picked up Walking Dead #100 this week, man one of the main characters meets a truly gruesome death. Loved the black and white artwork. The New Mutants story arc Fear the Future is great also, featuring the Warlock/Douglock characters, as well as an appearance from Dr Strange.

    rewatched Alien last night, the Director's Cut. Is the Engineers' beacon sound they find the same as heard in Prometheus? I'm seeing it again tomorrow if no one knows.

    it's sad to see so many trolls on the net that only see what's spelled out in front of them. Like symbolism or religious iconography is lost on them, a generation raised on reality tv. If any movie deserves a second, open minded viewing this year, it's this one.

    Anyone wishing they made a Prometheus FPS game, locate a ROM or copy of Alien Trilogy for PS1, you battle the Engineers on their ship in the final stage. Or just wait for Colonial Marines I guess.

    saw the 3D IMAX, a great visual spectacle to be sure. More questions than answers which is trademark Lindelof, but I can wait for a sequel. Hopefully Scott does the Blade Runner film next.

I think it was their best album. why Al has decided to resurrect Ministry now when their newer material is increasingly subpar is just beyond me. last one I could get into was Houses of the Molé. if you haven't heard the Buck Satan & The 666 Shooters album, you've missed Al's comeback, album is genius. also agree on Tears For Fears, as well as:

    Scott has revealed the opening scene from the film. Not really a spoiler since it hasn't filmed yet. "There'll be a vast farmland where there are no hedges or anything in sight, and it's flat like the plains of — where's the Great Plains in America? Kansas, where you can see for miles. And it's dirt, but it's being raked. On the horizon is a combine harvester which is futuristic with klieg lights, ‘cause it's dawn. The harvester is as big as six houses. In the foreground is a small white clapboard hut with a porch as if it was from Grapes of Wrath. From the right comes a car, coming in about six feet off the ground being chased by a dog. And that's the end of it, I'm not gonna tell you anything else".
