From Mosca's interview with him a while back I seemed to remember that he was asked about here (and fan communities in general) and I think the consensus was that he thinks we're generally twats, the 71 pages here suggest he may be right .... Also, because they say they didn't want to do tracks with beats for a bit doesn't mean every single track they did was beatless... I think they'd lose interest doing EVERYTHING without beats. The thing is I just haven't a clue how Oversteps is going to sound. Certainly not like Amber, but I doubt it'll be very Quaristicey either. I'm thinking it'll have the moody, cavernous ambient sounds of Quari at least... Pretty thick in reverb most likely. Pure speculationlol

I doubt it. The Quaristice tour had Londons date unannounced until later, but that was because they got permission to hire out a car park for the night. Also it was an amazing gig around the corner from where I work! Apparently they liked the venue, so I'm going to hazard a guess that they'll be playing there again. Hearn St.

An album with guest MC's is like a compilation album. No flow or cohesion. Wouldn't really work with AE I don't think. A single guest MC maybe.

They said they'd love to make a straight up hip hop album. But not for a lazy someone who just wants a repetitive backing track, basically whoever is cool with being cut up and Autechreized and has the talent and skill to work around their production.

Who's to say they're genuine track times? this is the closest thing we have to official track titles, someone possibly Fredd-E quasi stalked the dude who gave the 'initial reflections' review over to last.fm and found this in their scobbled songs Oh I see! Good stuff. There's some good looking times on that, looks like there should be a nice mix of more builduppy type tunes and more immediate Quari style tunes. Maybe?

because i downloaded it yesterday and it is 100% most assuredly a fake it sounds absolutely nothing like Quaristice, which by going by that review is what the album should sound a little bit like not to mention the obvious low production skills employed on the album compared to Autechre.
