nanoloop! $3.99 for android and ios
DescriptionNanoloop is a complete sequencer/synthesizer/sampler package, optimised for mobile use. It runs smoothly on a wide range of phones and tablets, including older and low end devices.
The interface fits any screen resolution and can be customised with adjustable font/icon size and white/black color schemes.- Easy to use sequencer, suitable for rhythm and melody
- Automatisation of all parameters
- 8 channels, each can be synth or sampler
- 8 patterns per channel
- Load samples from SD-card
- Sample via microphone
- Trim samples
- Re-sample
- Polyphonic FM-, PWM- and noise synth
- Song editor with loop function
- Send and receive projects via e-mail
- Compatible with iOS version
- WAV and Ogg Vorbis export
- Sharing projects and audio in Dropbox and SoundCloud is possible when these apps are installed. The interface has been simplified and in most cases, a long press on an icon reveals info and/or a menu.
The Synth
Nanoloop's FM synth offers a maximum of flexibility within a small set of parameters. It comes with a stereo modulator detune effect and covers the typical clean bells and Rhodes-like sounds, spheric pads, thick beats and basses and all kinds of exotic sounds and noises.
The Sequencer
The stepsequencer visualises the rhythmic structure in a compact 4x4 square matrix, which makes it very easy to lay out patterns.
The Sampler
Besides A/D envelope, loop function and start offset, the puristic sampler comes without effects. You can record up to 6 seconds via microphone or load samples from SD-Card (WAV with 8, 22, 44 or 48 KHz).
Note: Nanoloop does not need an internet connection. It does perform a license check though during the first 10 minutes via internet when running for the first time. Once the check was successful, the result is stored locally permanently and you can work offline.
much more for gameboy!

i don't know snowbombing so i'm pretty stoked based on the latter pages of this thread. release genuinely feels like a nod to longtime fans

The Double
7/10 maybe? I don't know why the duplicate protagonist plot device is such a big thing right now. I liked the sense of humor in this film but I thought the surreal elements were kind of gimmicky and underdeveloped. The ending was disappointing. The whole thing borrowed way too much from other films. There was something i really enjoyed about this movie though, despite its flaws.
i thought the double was fantastic. saw it in the theatre with mates who all liked it too. loved the humour, pacing, soundtrack. all felt really tight to me. it's based on a dostoevsky short story, no? seems i remember reading that he thought the story was poorly written. still not perfectly clear with what the ending was supposed to convey
watched it at home with my girl and like 1/3 of the way through started noticing her progressively louder sighs. she managed to finish it and said she "didn't hate it"
-
slick. i'm jelly

tmnt was better than i expected it to be because i expected it to be unbearable (had to watch it for my nephew's birthday).
watched the protector 2 which, after i resigned myself to the fact that it was clearly a comedy and not a martial arts film, was almost enjoyable
-
sin city 2 was garbage
-
downloaded chime 'cause it was free and had plaid/sabrepulse tracks. never game it too much time.
-
would contradict the statement that the oldest tracks on the album are 6 yrs old

Why isn't that Dragon Quest PS4 blue? They missed a trick there.
Also I accidentally bid on a PS Vita Slim and might accidentally pay for it should I win. Don't you hate it when that happens?
Eh, I'd buy the first variant, better screen and all that jazz.
i honestly think i'd sacrifice the "better screen" for micro usb, smaller profile and better battery. i have the white one that came w/ass. creed: girl a few xmas ago. really love how good psplus has been for vita lately. lots of indies that should be cross buy for ps4 later too. mutant mudds and dragon crown keepin' me busy

want atlanta party :\

pre-release live streams are pretty standard for lots of albums these days aren't they? has warp ever done one?

super mario cats for wii u with the missus. seems okay so far but not loving it as much as i thought i would. the camera/perspective seem really weird to me and it generally seems to stay zoomed out too far for a 3d game but my vision is also getting pretty shitty lately
LOL @ "Super Mario Cats" - that should have been the name instead of Super Mario 3D World Wii U.
The game is very long and very satisfying - especially if you are a completist when it comes to these kind of games.
rad. we just got the wii u about a month ago and blazed through 100%ing nsmbu together. if it's at least as long as that i'll be satisfied although so far it's seemed pretty easy and we burned through the first two worlds pretty quickly
I'd say it's longer... the most annoying thing is completing it with all 5 characters... yes, there is a hidden character. Won't spoil it if you don't already know.
you mean at once? 5th character? ;O
