For the first time ever I delved into the whole lootbox shithole. PUBG players were given 30,000 points on Xbox because they had reached 3 million players or something like that. So I thought I'd check out what I'd get from some random crates.
- A turtle neck
- Two identical blue t-shirts
- A red t-shirt
People seriously pay money to get random and useless crap like this? I really despise the fact that this has been put into so many games. It's disgusting.
The ultra rare mini skirts go for hundreds on the Steam marketplace, it's bonkers.
I caved and bought MH:W. It's fantastic.
yeah. so now on the pc half the time you get crates that you *have* to pay to even open. i just am selling those on the steam marketplace for about 35cents a pop.

don't think he ever spent much on it but i know he did pay for some boxes. they really nailed that skinner box stuff with loot boxes. dude loves going to vegas so it's no surprise

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Dug the acting (always love Sam Rockwell), and have a soft spot for films that don't treat middle America and the South as a bunch of idiots (I grew up in the South). Plot could have been a bit more interesting. 7/10.

nah but there's a ton of guys in the tekken discord that have started playing like crazy.
just started a new ffix play on ps4. it's nice with the speed boost cheat to cut through the monotony of stealing/grinding/running around the world map.

is 3 Billboards really that bad? I rate everything else McDonagh's done.
apart from BR2049, I can't think of anything stellar from last year as well. and that was so unlikely too.
i would say it's worth seeing so that you can see how truly bad it is. i wouldn't (and didn't) pay for it though

three billboards was astonishingly stupid. god i'm getting frustrated thinking about. every character is remarkably unlikable. completely uneven tone since they tried to make this some kind of black comedy? except all the jokes were telegraphed and awful. nothing in this movie was remotely believable. everything was stupid.
no. it's way worse than this.Three Billboards - it deals with the subject of grief intermittently well, Rockwell's arc was decent, but then it meandered all over the gaff. W/out Frances whatsherface, it would've sunk more quickly. John Wyles is usually well cast & shines in most things seen so far with him in, but he barely gets a look in. 6.5/10

Just had two good runs in PUBG. Shit is intense!
yeah have seen a marked increase in our placements over the last couple of weeks. definitely improving individually and as a group when we can all play together. a couple of chicken dinners recently and numerous top 5 to 2nd place finishes.
got a couple of game winning kills last week including an incredibly long range headshot with the kar98 and an 8x

was going to stop eating meat again in the new year (picked the habit up in vegas at the beginning of dec). instead i've gone full keto as a quick weight loss thing. it's absolutely disgusting to eat nothing but meat and fat and lose ~10lbs in a little over a week. i didn't even hardly do any cardio because it snowed and i was only able to ride to work one day last week.
i feel so gross

oh btw you can probably get a surly knockoff for a fraction of the price. know that unless you're getting a custom built frame they're almost all pumped out of like 5 factories in china/taiwan now. personally i like the old skinny cylinder steel tubes vs the big obnoxious carbon/aluminum frames.

i spent 1200 on a bike i wanted to be the ultimate commuter/exercise bike (the surly pacer) but ultimately didn't ever keep up with the cleaning and stuff when riding in shit conditions (it rains a lot here). so now that's just my workout bike and i bought an old trek frame (85) and built up a singlespeed commuter for $400.
it's that special kind of lazy where i can't be arsed to clean the gears/lube the chain after a good rain but i'll ride where every pedal stroke uphill is harder because i don't have gears -_-

biking is awesome! did some short bikepacking tours last summer and now i am hooked. riding in winter though....
you're a boss for riding in that. my commutes have been dry but lows in the teens and windchill to 5 degrees. i never get warm all day once i get to work. go straight home and jump in a hot bath
