Picked up my 3DS in the first time in a long time recently. Brought Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (FF music rhythm game) which is a lot of fun. The songs are good obviously but there's quite a lot of characters to unlock (think there's about 50) plus dungeons/boss battle things going on which make the game have a bit of substance. The chibi style looks really good as well and the backgrounds are lush. Basically a nice surprise. Made me want to get into an RPG as well dispite feeling I have no time to invest into them anymore. Was going to pick up a FF game but couldn't really find one so I've brought Bravely Default which is incredible so far. Played it solid for 6 hours last night and I've only just reached the first chapter so I presume its a long and detailed game.

Tech valuations are ridiculous though (it's also a stupid comparison, because it compares a global enterprise to one market). I'd be more interested in seeing spotify's revenue and operating costs for 2014. After all they had huge revenue gains in 2013, and still ran at a loss. They need to jack up their subscriber numbers like crazy, especially if artists are complaining about not receiving enough in royalties. Meanwhile the publishers are still laughing all the way to the bank. Here's a great read on spotify (which I have never tried, it wasn't available in Canada until very recently, afaik - anyways, I'm old, so i prefer to buy albums, though I do stream from mixcloud, soundcloud, and bandcamp). http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/11/24/revenue-streams Pretty sure Spotify are still running at a loss. flol at this Tidal biz. Nobody will know what it is in a few months.

Started metroid prime recently. Way cool. Took a while to get used to the motion controls but they don't feel too bad now. Also brought call of duty advance warfare, haven't played one since black ops 1 and fancied something to throw on and have a few rounds online when I don't want to invest in a long game/deep story because I don't have much time to play video games any more. I've always enjoyed the games dispite the stigma so its nice to go back to it.

In what way? I love that film. Thought it was generally pretty well received. I watched Hot Tub Time Machine 2 yesterday. Haven't seen the first one but assumed it wouldn't be very hard to follow. Nice brainless fun. Pretty damn funny in parts, tho it was a little slow to start off with.

Got 100 pages into Moon Palace by Paul Auster but I wasn't getting into it. Its the 2nd of his I've read/tried to read, I like what he writes about but really don't like his style, gave it a try but gonna give up on him. Moved on to The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath) which is a better read so far.

This game is awesome, mostly for the visuals and badshit insane plot. The side game where you perv at girls whilst talking to them is lol too.

Not a very good picture but I had a donut burger 2 nights ago (2 sugared donuts instead of bread). Fits surprisingly well but I had it with sweet potato fries which made the whole meal too sweet but decent all round. Next time I need to get the waffle burger.

The girl I'm seeing is super drunk so I had to leave a friend I was with to go meet her and take her back to mine. Took like 20 minutes to walk her around 1 corner to my flat. She then thanked me by being sick all over my new duvet and bedsheets. Spent the past half hour cleaning sick from her hair/my bath tub. Now she's passed out whilst I'm wide awake because of all the adrenaline that kicked in trying to sort her out. Still fancy her so I guess that's a good sign? I am looking forward to reminding her of this in the morning tho tehe. Also @ schlitze I get that sometimes, it is because I bite my nails for sure. It can be pretty painful and I usually end up sticking a needle in there in multiple angles and draining it. Pretty gross. I guess self-inflicted nail biting wounds is a pretty good first world problem too.

Purchased the Mario Kart DLC so been playing that again with some buds. Also sloooowly making my way through Earthbound. I don't have much time to sink into RPGs anymore but I finally got Paula in my party.

Blasted through Less Than Zero in a couple of days. Wasn't digging it at the beginning but it got better. Almost overly dark in some places, especially when you consider that it was wrote when Bret Easton Ellis was 19... Although that's probably also why it got so edgy. The book captured the feeling of and depersonalization well which resonates with me. Overall good book, makes me want to read more. Think I have American Psycho queued next.

Three Stigmata is one of my favorite PKD novels. Probably top 3. Then again I think Ubik was my least favorite so far and that seems to be up there with the best for a lot of dudes. It also has the best book covers. Examples:

I use one of these too but the headphone connection is iffy and needs to be held in a particular position so I only use it when running now. I used to have the bigger version (non-clip?) that I preferred because the clip is teeny tiny.
