Leading candidate for post of the year. 2015 I'd go Sheathman's creepy video response to an email, but this is almost a guaranteed lock.

His music videos are incredible. Seems like an awesome guy.

Gotta Quake em Apple Keith House M.D. backpack is legit as hell, youd be Henry Lollins wearin that thing
If you could find a cheap way to ship dank designer clothing in bulk from China over to Portland you'd be Henry Rollin' in the dough.

^What kind of critter am I looking at right now? Some kind of weird japanese dog/fox hybrid? Can't lie, I'd snuggle the fuck out of that thing.

The fact that she has her hand on her hip like that and that it's from the perspective of a car with its window partially rolled down really ties the picture together.

This sounds like a horrible idea.
Potential sample here @ 0:19
first thing that sprang to mind when I read the thread title.
fitting that it's among the worst tracks Devin has released in his career.

This track covers some ground. The ending is particularly boner inducing.

Didn't know Norwegian Occult Techno was a thing. Turns out it is, and it's actually good.

^that's one big ass rat.
African HeroRats detect landmines.
The pouched rats are perfect for the job; intelligent with a keen sense of smell, they are small enough not to trigger mines and large enough to be easily identifiable in the field. No rat has been killed in a minefield.
The rats can clear two hundred square meters in just 20 minutes. It would take humans with metal detectors five days to cover the same area.
The rats live for up to eight years, but retire after six and live out their twilight years eating avocados, apples and bananas, and being regularly patted by their handlers. -
Blank Banshee is part of what's known as vaportrap (I'm sure you can work out why). This by Hong Kong Express is an excellent one, very much on the dream end of the genre, away from the corporate stock music / 80s pop end of things. In that area I'd also recommend both albums by Remember, Tokyo Audio 3000 by Air Japan, 2814's Birth of a New Day, almost anything by telepath, New Tokyo Blue Mood by Subaeris, both albums by Immune, Mana Pool by Vaperror, Overgrowth by Oscob & Digital Sex. Almost all of which is on Dream Catalogue.
cool. Blank Banshee sounds interesting. I'll check out some more later but first i g o t t a このゴミ2を聞くために自分を殺します

5 essentials:
骨架的 - Skeleton
chuck person - chuck person's eccojams vol. 1
James Ferraro - Far Side Virtual
░▒▓新しいデラックスライフ▓▒░ or any other early Internet Club
Any "classic" Vekroid alias (fuji grid tv, Laserdisc Visions, Macintosh Plus, New Dreams Ltd., PrismCorp Virtual Enterprises, Sacred Tapestry)
Notable mention: Luxury Elite - With Love, any mallsoft release
Either of Dream Catalogue's massive comps are good starters for later era/present day vaporwave
Thanks.

^ Nice, but holy shit does Taco have the most annoying bark in the world.

Finally broke down and listened to more than 20 seconds of some vaporware. Feel more ashamed than anything, but there was some cool sounding stuff. An album from HKE called "This" was actually good.
Any of y'all got a top 5 greatest vaporwave albums you could share?
Literally just discovered this genre last week, mainly into death's dynamic shroud so far (this guy is amazing); don't have a top albums list yet but maybe check out Dream Catalogue ... probably this is obvious
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm checking death's dynamic shroud right now.
