    It almost feels like malicious compliance at this point, after the decade or so of fans constantly asking for live sets.

    Huh that's really weird, wonder why some of the soundboard recording was cut. Thanks for pointing that out.

     

     

     

    I love the 2001 stuff

    I think I have a few other decent audience recordings other than the ones you listed (plus the soundboard)

     

    I’ll have to dig through and see if any are really good. Probably no better than what you already listed

     

    I think parts of the 2001 set were very tangentially related to some portion of either Dial or CapIV

    I forget which one, but when I use to listen to the 2001 live stuff daily i remember putting on that ep and one of those two songs gave me the “oooh that’s where that came from” feel

    Yeah, Dial. and Cap.IV are absolutely fantastic; Gantz Graf is one of my favourite of their EPs, the style exhibited in these two songs is definitely something I could use more of

    Cool fikkinz :) other good audience recordings are fine by me, hoping to have all the good versions available and until Sal and Rod start putting up their copies of these soundboards (pls&thx) we'll have to make due. I think you're right on the somehow related to Dial. or Cap.IV, hadn't thought of that.

     

    Agree vproc, Gantz is highly underrated, I always love the more amorphous and hype/high-tempo AE (why I'm so into this live set)

    You really think so? I always thought GG was highly rated by pretty much everyone on here. Maybe it's just me.

     

    What did me was when Sean said (in the AAA I think) that Gantz Graf was made around the time of EP7, but they didn't know what to do with it. Mind blowing, such an incredible piece of music.

    cichlisuite sounds so good in the car. this one, envane and ep7 are some of the best driving music there is. especially during rain.

     

    however i don't often listen to nts or elseq in the car because i get so sucked into them that i dissociate and crash into things

    Lol I listened to Elseq on my first trip in my car after passing my test (I was a late bloomer).

    Here's a 75% replication of the Echoplex gig, with MD, MM and MPC1K.

    Using the previously rendered MD & MM audio takes.

     

    The MPC1K part was reassembled track by track, section by section, using a mix of: accurate positioning based on the bootleg, following Ae's performance notes; and personal interpretation. Only a few regions were lowered in level, otherwise everything left as is level-wise.

     

    Digit has been handed Reaper project files and will do Nord G2 magic :)

    How can this be made new best answer? Is it down to the OP?
