  1. i go back and forth between liking it and hating it. it definitely can become a big burden mess that just becomes too much of a headache to deal with, compared to being simple and using 1 or 2 things at a time.

  2. Sometimes when im out and about and I buy and consume food I don't really need I imagine myself just eating my money instead

i think that means you're probably smart.

other people (take me for example) can sometimes entirely forget food exists, and then i'll be wondering ??? why the heck do i feel like garbage all of a sudden ???

  3. i haven't.

but i watch giantbomb (paid website where you pay a monthly fee to watch adults play videogames) and the dude on that site has one. some of the cores seem to work totally fine, like certain old arcade ones. old 80s computers working totally fine, booting the OS and booting games as they should. i think the commodore 64 was taking minutes to boot up a game which seemed weird. other cores seemed more temperamental, buggy and needing ironed out.

but the whole thing seems like a fun hobby that's gonna keep you engaged for a good while, and is constantly getting updates from the community it seems. like, anyone can find ways to boot up Jill of the jungle on their home computer i imagine, but the act of building the MISTER and then booting Jill of the jungle from that seems way more fun somehow lol.

i almost bit the bullet cos the hobbyist side of it was intriguing to me. kinda reminds me of like building a eurorack modular case but for old videogames??

    christ this is bad

cant believe i used to go on the aphex subreddit, legit thinking about ending it all

Lol what pieces of shit. I posted a couple comments calling them out and they immediately deleted them. Censorship is as cool as stealing!

wtf is this? i get called out and soundcloud takes down one of my shitty songs when i use a vocal sample from gwen stefanny or something like that and these guys upload entire songs to promote a fucking pirated album and soundcloud is ok with that?

    that's bizarre.

pretty sure you need to actively be the one owning the copyright to claim a copyright dispute. ( trying to report the aphex twin tracks on serpant records page for example is not going to work, cos it'll ask you to verify you owning the copyright before proceeding. sames goes for youtube.)

i'm guessing the vocal sample you used was enough for the algorithm to automatically identify the song (?).
