I'd recommend a PC based on what you describe. Maybe a steamdeck? I recommend the switch only if you can't go without Nintendo's IP games or you're fine with playing mostly casual games and you're concerned about price.

Yeah escalation is scary. Conspiracy senses tingling, how was this even possible? are 'intelligence' agencies a fraud? Hopefully there's a swift end to this without further death and violence, don't see how it can happen.

The witness kicking my ass, I think I'll come back to it later. Hmm... elder ring on sale, should I pull the trigger? Never got too far into dark souls 3, and I didn't finish sekiro. I think I'll wait for the next sale. Thinking of getting and paying Alan Wake since I really liked the control cross over mission before Alan Wake 2 comes out.

Switch is fine, has great games and stuff, mine's gathering dust tho cus I got a powerful-ish PC where I can play the shiny stuff. I'd say think about what you'll do long term, if you can't do without those bigger scale games or if you'll be happy enough with what Nintendo has to offer (which is plenty tbh) ----------------------------------- Finished paradise killer. It's okay, not too hard but kinda tedious gameplay, not my thing but I got through it just fine. Now I see the witness is on sale so I'm gonna get that.

Replaying 'Return of the Obra Dinn'. I played it some years ago but I didn't really appreciate it. After seeing it praised repeated lately I decided to give it an honest shot (kinda just looked up how to finish it the first time). Luckily I've forgotten most of it by now.

Watched the one piece Netflix live action adaptation. It's good! Very respectful of the source material. The main cast is great (not sure about Luffy's interpretation by the actor tho) but some of the secondary characters do stick out as really cheapo.

Tried Prey for a bit although it has a cool opening I was soon overwhelmed with a neverending checklist of stuff to do. Which is a big contrast with the game design I had recently experienced in outer wilds. Its also awkward to play on controller. So I returned to outer wilds and played the echoes of the eye DLC. Pretty goddamn amazing as well, imma start a religion about this game. I'll give prey another chance some other day.

Prey and outer wilds DLC on sale on steam so that's probably next for me.

Status update (I'm sure y'all super interested in knowing): Game completed. This one goes in the list of best of all time gaming experiences.

Progress report: Finally figured out how to I was trying such a convoluted way, almost facepalmed when I finally figured out how to do it. So easy. Also had a lightbulb moment in the morning about how Which I can't wait to try after work. Pretty sure that'll make it so I have everything I need, I think I know what I'll find there and what to do with it. But we'll see! Fantastic experience one of those you wish you could forget and do for the first time again.

I'm at that stage I think, I spoiled myself a couple of solutions but both turned out to be things I had already tried that didn't work for some reason. I keep thinking of more convoluted things to try now for the lack of more obvious things. Still enjoying it tho.

outer wilds is awesome its openness and (welcome) lack of handholding got me constantly feeling I'm stuck, tho.
