Its real. I can't believe people have doubts. Its certainly a promo though... sounds transcoded, crossfades could be more polished, last track cuts off.... So, when we finally get the real product, it will sound even better. This isnt fake though. I have nothing to do with this. Go back and listen to everything from Lp5 and on.... you'll see why this album makes total sense. Bask in it bitches. This shit is sunlight and hot as fuck

possibly. there are really cheesy mp strings in there Yeah, imagine Fermium off of Untilted and Simmm off of Quaristice carving out the territory this album exists in, while giving a nod to the melodies in Lp5. Total, unapologetic and absolutely necessary cheese.

not a single moment of this has let me down. Period. You're so right. The replay value on this is through the fucking roof. I wouldnt even know how they could top this. When I got down listening to Quaristice for the first time, I was "meh!" With this, I am absolutely dumbfounded... Its so simple and yet so on another level entirely.

Friends.... Dearest Friends.... I've been guilty of miserably trying to fake Autechre in the past. I've fooled some of you and I have angered many more. For that, I am sorry. But, when it comes down to it, I could never replicate this. It's just too sublime, too lush, or whatever anyone else has said that has recently angered me these past couple weeks in my ignorance of not getting what I want, my being impatient. I'm hearing this leak now and I am so happy that I have already planned to purchase this. Oversteps may just be the best, newest, freshest, most fucked up Autechre album I have heard in over 7 years. Why is this such a simple record and yet so fucking complex?!? With this, they totally rewrote the script as *I* knew it, yet being true to form... Oversteps makes it sound like I've been listening to their past catalog through a hologram or foggy veil. Its everything we've come to expect and then more... In terms of leaving me second guessing, I havent felt this way since Confield came out, yet I feel like this is the record I was supposed to be always waiting to hear . Wow. I'm not angry. I'm not let down. I have nothing to say except I need to learn to shut the fuck up. This is a TOTAL game changer and yet a return to form, and yet it still makes me feel weird as I sit here and listen. This isnt even ambient music. This so much more. I am sorrry, but this is SO good it even makes Quaristice make sense. They needed to release Quaristice to get to this. I understand now. It had to happen this way. I understand now. I am humbled. And I am sorry for being a dick on these boards.

These actually sound like songs and not like one-off experiments like the last album. This makes me happy so far. It also makes me SUPER curious about their live set and what it is going to sound like. This also makes me think that the 30min mark melody from the Untilted tour may actually make its way to a proper track on this album. If thats the case, this will be AWESOME.

Re: someone mentioned not finished exploring the first part of Simm (and thereby Fermium?) I totally agree. See on See exemplifies that Re: someone mentioned Oversteps = Lp5.1 (Lp6?). Again, I totally agree, given Ilanders. I'm content, though I am treading carefully with their ambient stuff.. to the untrained AE ear, it sounds VERY new agey.
